About this item

  • Unique, stable tenon and tenon grease for musical instruments.
  • Ideal lubricating properties
  • Prevents trains from getting stuck
  • Condensate repellent, temperature-stable
  • Keeps cork supple, resistant to ageing

Isolates the accumulated condensate from the tuning lines, preventing corrosion and sticking of the inner wires. It is a relatively "stiff" grease with exactly the consistency that leads to an optimal movement of the pulls. Often used for sealing lubrication of trains whose precision is not optimal. At the same time, it is also an ideal grease for maintaining and greasing the tenon joints on woodwind instruments. The cork is protected from moisture and remains supple with ideal lubricating properties.

Unique among cork grease, noticeably long lasting on clarinet corks. Addictive smell. Forbidden sap. 🤤

This is excellent quality cork grease!I would always buy the cork grease that's like lip balm packaging...but this is so much better! You need just a little bit on your finger tip to apply on the cork of your clarinet and/or mouthpiece and it lasts a long time.It is a lot smaller than I imagine LOL, but That's a good thing...it makes it easy for transport and to have in the case with my clarinet. It has a nice fragrance that not too bad.Highly recommend!

You just need a small amount of this cork grease which makes putting any instrument with cork fittings very easy to do.

Used for clarinet corks. Works okay but has to be reapplied each time you put the instrument together.

After having to have a 2 tenon corks replaced, I learned that the typical cork grease in the chap stick type tubes actually contain a large amount of moisture which can dissolve the glue which holds the corks on the horn. I don't know why I didn't use the small tub that came with my Uebel clarinet, but started using it when the tenon corks were replaced. It's the BEST cork grease. Period.
