Exactly as pictured, Packed safely in a well sized box with a layer of soft foam to keep it cushioned. The acrylic is covered in a layer of "sticker paper" to keep it scratch free; this layer is a bit hard to get off. I used a nail file to sand away from on edge to get a start going to peel it off. I bought this to use as a baffle for my cannister filter, as well as to add some plants into. I think it will work well for both. The hooks go on easy and fit either a rimless tank or the rimmed one, but could be a tad more sturdy on a rimmed. I would buy again.
