I love these clocks!! They self-adjust to the correct time by receiving the world-wide short wave signal. The projection of the time on the ceiling or wall is fantastic, clear and large. I don't have to turn over to see my clock at night, I just look at the ceiling. The projection is not overly bright to keep me awake. The clocks last about 10 years or so, and this is my third one. My last clock failed because the batteries got old and leaked out causing corrosion. I definitely will buy this again if I need to replace my nightstand alarm clock.The company sells a clock with a color LED screen for more money, but I think this has everything I need at a very reasonable price.It comes with an instruction flier that is clear and easy to understand. With the instruction manual, the clock is easy to set up and use. Don't loose the instructions. It is easy to forget which buttons do what.

This is a very good product. There was a minor issue with the remote display but after contacting La Crosse customer service (Amber), they promptly sent me a new unit. The new unit is working as expected. Excellent customer service!

My old one died, This one is much better - bright display with larger numbers, and display can be dimmed. Set up in just a couple of minutes and will show inside temp, outside temp. or both. Very good tool at a very reasonable price.

I purchased the one that this is replacing in 1999 (Pretty much the same clock; La Crosse Tech). I got 25 years out of it, and I expect the same here. Right off the bat it is a lot easier to program, set up and just, overall operate. The projection is larger and brighter and easier to aim. I love the backlight blue and the fact that it is on all the time. No "pressing a button" to see what time it is.The only take away (and it is only 1/2 a star), It sits so s flat... it is almost as if the clock face is tilted forward. I'd like to see it tilted back a bit. Still a really great clock.

This replace a similar clock. Set up was really easy. Display is bright and clear. The projection on the ceiling is very good quality and easy to read.

This La Crosse atomic alarm. clock is a solid purchase. It gives you the most accurate time, lighted display with 4 adjustable settings and a projection on the ceiling.This clock comes with the clock itself and an outdoor receiver. Just insert batteries and. you're ready to go.The display is extremely sharp with 4 level settings of brightness and OFF. Projecting on the ceiling lets you select the time, time & temp or OFF. The projection feature has some issues however. The first clock I received was too fuzzy. The replacement was fine.I do have some issues with this alarm clock. Although the image on the ceiling was fine, I could not adjust it a full 360º to line up with my sleeping position. The other problem was that it took 4 tries (installing batteries) before the clock showed the accurate time.If you want an atomic alarm clock with great features, this should be one to consider. Just be aware of isolated issues.

First, the projection feature is flawless. I keep this on my nightstand, but from there I can project the time on my wife's side and the numbers remain sharp and clear without distortion. On the Low setting, the projection brightness is just right; the red numbers do not noticeably light up the room. Of course, the atomic time is perfect. You never need to reset it, even for DST.However, the blue background for the clock display screen lights up the room too much. It's too bright even on the lowest setting, but I cannot read the display on that setting at all. If I turn the brightness up one notch, I can read it but the bedroom is much too bright. I've taken to just leaving the display turned Off and viewing the projection on the ceiling at night, but then during the day neither the display nor the projection is visible.The alarm sound is a simple chirp, but my wife finds that too loud even on the lowest setting. Masking tape over the bottom of the alarm did not soften it. Previously I used an iPhone as an alarm clock and that had a wide variety of alarm sounds, levels, etc.Changing the display to blue characters on a black background, and providing different alarm sounds (with advancing volume?) would make it better.

transformateur avec une prise spéciale .le transformateur a pris feu en 5 minutes, heureusement je n'avais pas branché le réveil .Aucune notice d'explication et utilisation . Le réveil avec une notice de fonctionnement en anglais !je n'ai pas encore trouvé le fonctionnement "plafond " température /heure. Pouvez vous m'adresser une version Française (que j'ai déjà demandé et non reçu !!! Merci

If you have this near your bed and like the room to be dark, it has an automatic dimming feature that you can set to turn the back light off at an hour of your choosing. The types of clocks with color screens need a constant backlight to be legible and I found them too bright for the room or not bright enough to be legible. The projector works well and has a high and low setting. I suspect that some reviews that mention a small size for the projected temps and time are for a different model. Notice that some reviews are more than 10 years old. Many of these items try to fit too many features into a small screen leaving all features hard to read. Not the case with this item. This is a basic clock and in/out thermometer. My opinion, if you want a weather station you probably don't want it in your bedroom."Monitors Indoor and Wireless Outdoor temperature (°F/°C) with trend arrows; Charge devices with 1 amp USB charging port; Customized calendar: full weekday, day/month/date, alarm time" This web description is not true, for the Silver version. NO USB port on this item. Look at photos, you won't see one.I do not use the alarm, the soft music from your phone is a much better way to wake up. One month later I especially like the auto dimming feature. The display works perfectly, large and legible.

Same problem as others, didnt realise this particular model is 120v AC, NOT the 5v DC this clock use to come with. Cant be used in Australia as it is.
