I’d never tried LaBella rounds before, but decided to give these a shot. They sound and feel great, much better than most of the more common round wound brands. I will definitely be getting more of these in the future.

I never knew these sounded so good! The only reason I tried these is because they come stock with my Spector Bass and WOW! I fell in love with them! Great sounding, easy to play, not harsh on your frets or fingers and sound really clean for a long time. Will purchase again!

I love, love, love these strings. My fandom for Justin Raines’ playing inspired me to give these strings a try amid Labella’s already stellar reputation. They feel great and my drummer instantly recognized the tone difference. I play my 4 string mostly in a church setting and I’m going to put the 5 string version on my newly acquired Lakland. The tone is indeed in your hands but the equipment is just as important! I think these will be my strings of choice. Call it “tonal” vision but I don’t even want to give other strings a try. As for durability, I can’t say but stainless steel speaks for itself. Can’t beat the feeling and tone you get out of these for the money. Love them!

These strings have an interesting tone one my '70s P bass. Compared to the Dunlop super brights these strings sound more honky and midrangy at first. It took some time getting use to but they have broken in nicely and developed a nice full warm tone that I associate with nickel strings. Another added bonus for the rx series is they are available in very specific custom gauges often with slight differences between one string. One note I would add is that these strings are nickel plating from top to bottom with no colored silk ends, for those looking to match a paint job or what have you.

I like these strings. I've been using Labella flat wounds on both of my Fender Prevision basses and decided to try these round wounds. They sound as expected.
