These are pretty basic not sure how well they will hold up to heavy playing g but so far so good. Great value for the price.

The core of the strings are questionable as the core of one E string broke while restringing. Cannot trust these as I like to jam with friends on the weekend. A break like that would really be upsetting. Live and learn.

Sounds good on a P style bass. They are bright and have decent sustain, not great sustain.the winding is consistent, the strings did stretch a fair amount the first day, but after that they have very stable tuning. Not a high output kind of string . Worst part: sustain is not amazing, but it's completely unnoticeable if you grank (yes grank: to distortion and volume) the gain up and get that nice overdriven bass punch and ferver.
