I like to add a little bit of black light effects for my outdoor Halloween decorations.Using these L LOHAS LED Black Light Bulbs is as simple as installing them into a traditional floodlight fixture, powering them up and watch them make things glow.It's a great way to get a bit of an eerie glow to those decorations.

These bulbs are surprisingly powerful for their size and weight. The build quality is definitely nothing to brag about with 100% lightweight plastic build besides the metal socket. For a budget blacklight solution, these bulbs are probably the best value out there.

Got to say, I was skeptical of these lights but they do a great job. They do a great job of lighting up a space with a black light effect. The lights are housed in a hardish plastic that I would call impact resistant which gives them better protection the the traditional black light bulbs. They also come with a cap to protect the threads and contacts of the bulb, which is rather minor but I appreciate the gesture.The LEDs are not hard on the eyes either which is really nice. I think that these will be perfect for my Halloween decorations and any other party events.In all I can recommend these bulbs.

UPDATE 09/22/24 They stopped working after six months. Two star reduction.They are not good for every application like the old tungsten bulbs. Consider, the LEDs are several pinpoints of light, not just one point of light like tungsten, so this effects some photographic applications.But...if we're talking Nightlife, then these are just perfect!Why not throw a party with dim lighting, preferably with low-key lightbulbs in various colors in your lamps?Matter of fact, screw one of those colored bulbs in the light outside the front door, if you have a light socket out there. Now everybody knows where the party's at.You got music playing, cocktails pouring. Why not get really fancy with it? Put a planetarium projector in a second room. Now, your guests are walking back and forth between these cosmic rooms, like you're throwing a party in a spaceship.Use the bulbs in the lamps in those rooms to accentuate the projections, matching the color of the cosmic image you are projecting on the wall or the ceiling. Have a slideshow playing on your TV that convey whatever theme your party is all about.Why not make put food in each room with different themes? Pizza here, tacos there, etc.Truly, the imagination runs wild. When I do it, I might come back and upload a video.Embrace the rhythm of the night my friends.

I needed a black light to photograph some new products for my business and these are so easy to use. I just popped out my old bulb in my desk lamp and added this one in. It was a perfect fit and within five minutes I had my photos and I was done. I’ve never used any kind of blacklight before. This is a very, very big bulb, it puts off a lot of light and illuminates a very large space. It’s great for being able to capture, glowing products for photos. We will definitely be using this for Halloween or for any parties that we have that we might have an area for a dance party or need a glow light. Like any lightbulb this is gonna get hot if it’s in the light for a long period of time so do be cautious if you need to take it out and replace the bulb it will be hot. I would definitely recommend this for anybody needing a bulb for a black light
