So our use for these is a bit unorthodox - for five years our attic has attracted raccoons and mice no matter how I tried to seal it up. I read UV discourages them, and it has worked so far! Months without any critter (I have several webcams up there as I needed to know when our live traps were needing to be taken down)

I use 5 of the 6 in a fixture in my blacklight room, and they work very well. All of my UV decorations glow brilliantly with them.

These black light are very durable. We used them at Halloween. They work perfect and look great on the fake cobwebs. Great price would definitely recommend buying. Very easy to install just screw them in and they are perfect.

We used these for VBS at our church and they did a good job but just weren’t as bright as I thought they would be!

Fist I bought the single black light bulbs from the store and we realized they weren't powerful enough then bought these online. In one of the pictures the store bought is on the left in recessed ceiling light and this one from Amazon is on the right. You can tell it's brighter. I did buy 2 boxes had all in recessed lighting. You prob don't need that many but I was making sure the party was going to be good. I would buy these again, shipment was fast and no bulbs were broke packaging was great.

Love these black lights! They are very bright and quite an upgrade from my old incandescent black lights. It didn't pick up on my camera very well, but they do make a lot of things around the house glow. I also drew on my daughter's hand with some neon markers and the lights made the colors really pop. The only possible issue I see with them is that they give off a very directional light. There isn't an even light distribution around the entire bulb, but I only notice it in my table side lamps. There is a pretty clear line on the lamp shades that shows the very pointed direction in which the light shines.** But regardless, these bulbs add the perfect halloween ambiance to our space and I don't regret getting them. Only time will tell of their longevity but as of right now I'd certainly recommend them!***Please note that in my photo of one of my lamps, the space around the lamp looks much darker than it does in person. I purposefully darkened the photo so you could see the line I was referencing. Otherwise the glow from the bulb is bright enough that it washes out the photo despite the fact that the evidence of the directional light is very visible in person.

So these are definitely not the traditional black light bulbs I had in mind (and I think what most would have in mind when purchasing black lights). The bulbs aren’t “true” black lights in the sense that the bulbs are not black at all. Outer appearance-wise, they look like regular bulbs. There are LED lighysninside that emit a black light-like light, but it's not super-bright and they don't make things "glow" exactly as you might like. I had a small halloween party in the living room of my 1-BR apartment and they sufficed. Would not purchase again, however.
