Hello all HHR drivers looking at these shock absorbers. They don’t fit WAITE WAIT WAIT if you know how to grind a little metal, off the top bushing on the shock (less then 1/8”) you will have the nicest riding shocks I have ever felt on a HHR. I have 3 HHRs for my business now my other employees are hoping theirs wear out soon so they get replaced. I’m telling you nice ride.

My old shocks were broke. I then read in several forums that a lot of HHR owners used theKYB 349043 Excel-G Gas Shocks. I bought them and had them installed for $30 each sideand they work just fine. Recommend!

They didn't fit a 2007 Chevy HHR LT without a small amount of grinding to bottom of the shock, after that the performance is wonderful.

it wasn’t a perfect fit for my 07 chevy cobalt, i had to sand a bit off to allow these shocks to fit. they are good quality and I am experiencing a smoother ride with my car. it’s been three weeks and no complaints other than having to sand a bit off to allow the shock to slide into place.

These resolved a bouncy ride issue I was having, the old shocks weren’t leaking but were very bouncy, no control of the rear suspension over bumps. These new shocks resolved that problem!

I'm VERY pleased with these KYB rear shocks on my 2007 Chevy HHR 2LT with the FE3 sport suspension. These were installed with Eibach springs and TTR rear sway bar. Results are amazing. The ride quality is great even with the lowering springs, I highly recommended them.

I put these on my wife's HHR....They went bad pretty quickly! Not even a years use.I replaced them with some shocks from autozone with a lifetime warranty....This is my first disappointment from KYB and I have installed them on many vehicles....

Great rear shock for a chevy HHR and it is inexpensive. Amazon was quick and the fit was correct. I would definitely recommend this as a replacement shock for an HHR.
