This is my tree topper and I love the look. The top is too heavy for the base to hold it up so Ive figured out ways to keep it on place, but it's gorgeous on my tree.

I already have one, the one I currently use on my tree, I purchased a second one because the one in use I have it for long time and I’m afraid that will stop working and I won’t have a second one ready to replace it. It is a beautiful star/ornament for the Christmas tree, me and my sisters try to keep this kind of star in our Christmas decorations. Highly recommended. 👍

I love this star! Beautiful. It was a little bit annoying to put on and straighten out, but I think that would’ve happened no matter what I was putting on top of the tree.

The tree connection part isn’t great. We had to push down the last part of the tree for it to fit. Other than that it was really great!

The star is beautiful! It gives off a warm, golden glow. The clear thing it came with to put on the tree is ugly, but I saw a tip on instagram where you zip tie your star to a skinny dowel rod and then the trunk of the tree and that way it stays straight and secure. There is about an inch long piece on the bottom of the star that is supposed to go in the clear thing, so I attached that part to the dowel that I painted dark green, and voila, can’t even tell and it’s nice and secure!

To be honest hate this Amazon seller their communication is terrible. However I do love the product, and end result.

My star like this one had to be disguared. I had it for 6 years and wouldn't light and couldn't be fixed. It was a favorite star for my husband and myself. I just by chance found this one to replace the old one, it makes a soft glow that is just right and reminds me of the Christmas star. To me the cost was worth it and this one seems to have been made better then my old one.

I like it more than I dislike it but it's on thin ice with me.When on, the light shines through the faux-mercury glass finish and exudes a beautiful warm and golden glow. If your tree lights are truly warm (not neutral) then this star will compliment them well. I have the star on a fairly unremarkable 7foot tall tree, it's not an especially full tree but the star still looks a bit skinny or narrow on top. If you have one of those slim trees then I imagine this star would be a perfect fit for that profile. I'm extremely detail oriented and strongly doubt anybody else would ever notice that it's maybe just an inch too narrow for a standard profile 7-7.5 foot tree, but I'm mentioning it for the other perfectionists who may be searching through the reviews.My only real complaints are that the star has a completely useless base for mounting to the top of your tree. In what world would the small rod at the bottom of the star ever firmly fit into the cheap clear plastic base they give you. It resembles a sad upside-down diva cup and is infuriatingly lazy product design. How do they expect that to stay firmly in there? How they expect you to get it on the top of your tree securely without any alterations is beyond me. Other tree-toppers and stars I have purchased come with built-in bases that you can solidly bend your tree's branches around. Others have come with a clip of some kind that you can clamp onto the tree's center pole. And the one or two cheaper stars that have similarly sad diva-cup bases that are not built in - at least fit much more snugly with the star and do not immediately come loose and fall out.The other complaint is the power cord attached to this star. Damn it is short. Maybe 2 feet ? Pray tell where am I supposed to connect this to if my tree has leds on it? Nowhere is where. If you're still using end-to-end plugin lights then you should be fine. Otherwise you will need to run an inconspicuous extension cord up the center of your tree. Use dark zip ties or velcro loops used for cable management, you'll thank me. I have another kurt adler star with a significantly longer cord - maybe 6 feet ? They were similar in price but totally different in their designs, intricacy and scale. Bit of a head scratcher.BOTTOM LINE: Do you want a gold faux mercury-glass star of Bethlehem on your tree this year? Do have a standard or slim tree that is between 5-7.5 feet tall? Do you have standard lights that plug end to end? Are you willing to buy and run an extension cord up your tree if you don't? Are your tree lights warm-white or multicolored? If they are warm LED lights, really make sure they are tuned to the warmth level that old-school incandescent lights were otherwise it's going to clash. Most pre-lit led trees with 'warm leds' are more tuned to neutral rather than 'warm'. Do you feel like engineering your own solution to get this star to stay on top of your tree because the base that comes with it sucks? If you answered yes- it's the star for you.I'm still giving it a 4 out of 5. Yeah it's designed in a silly and dated way but it does look pretty. At the end of the day, isn't that all that matters?

Al recibir la estrella se nota que es un producto más sencillo que lo que se cree por la imágenes y precio. Sin embargo cumple su función al verse bonita de una buena distancia. La calidad del material no es buena y el producto que me llegó no me tenía buen funcionamiento. Tiene fusibles y focos de repuesto. La tuve que regresar.
