When I opened the package the pieces around the bulbs were off. I put them back on but they continued to fall off. It’s also cheaply made and the cord is extremely short. Should be $10 not $20 if anything. Very disappointed

EDITED the next day: The morning after putting this on our tree, we woke up and the topper was completely dead. Returning. Don’t waste your money!!This topper suited the nostalgic look I wanted for my tree but it is cheap garbage. I feel like I purchased this at the dollar store instead of paying over twenty. The moment I took it out of the box, the tinsely bits all fell right off. Also a bulb was already burned out when it got here. And the attachment you’re supposed to use to affix it to the tree is way too small to fit a branch inside, so I had to put floral wire through the back of the plastic frame and twist it around the branches at the top. Don’t buy this item.

This is the traditional tinsel laden round tree topper we had as kids 50 years ago. Standard non-polarized plug. Short wire. Comes with plastic cone to top tree with. Bright. Stays on solid lights, non blinking. Nice box if giving as a gift.

I wanted a vintage look but I didn’t want vintage electric devices on my tree for safety reasons. I put it on my tree with my antique ornaments and it looks great! The plastic pieces did pop off easily but also easily put back on.

Love the retro vintage feel. I got it cuz it reminded me of my grandma’s tree star growing up. But I gave it four stars because of the plastic light covers. They come off easily and they don’t snap on or anything so they literally are just holding on with dear life.
