I really like this pilgrim nutcracker couple and was determined to buy it but the first two tries were unsuccessful. It seems there is no quality control in the assembling of the nutcrackers. With my first order, the nose on the man was way off-center and the woman's collar and bow were also off-center. The bow gives the illusion that the woman has a neck, so if it's not in the correct position, it looks like she is all head and no neck. I think the couple is very cute, so I returned the first order and tried again. The second time, the man was acceptable, not perfect but okay. The woman had 7 black paint spots on her face. So, I ordered a third time and waited for the new order to arrive before I returned the prior one. In the last order, the man had a chunk of his hair missing on one side but the woman was passable. Her eyes are not at the same level and her head is a little tilted but I don't think most people will notice unless they look closely. So, I do have my cute pilgrim couple and really do like them but I should not have had to order 3 times to get an decent product.

Had to reorder. In the first shipment the man’s arm was broken. In the second shipment the woman’s hand was broken but the man was good. So had to send the man from the first shipment and the woman from the second shipment back. But finally got a complete set. I love them.

These are really cute! I have huge collection of Christmas nutcrackers & couldn’t resist these when I stumbled across these for Thanksgiving.

When I picked up the package I could hear rattling. I thought, 'Well this doesn't sound good." Sure enough, both were broken. For what you pay for Kurt Adler Nutcrackers, they should arrive intact.

The male nutcracker was broken and needed to be repaired. But after fixing, it was ok. Little on the expensive side

I ordered this pair of pilgrim nutcrackers but when they arrived the man pilgrim’s items in his basket and on the tray had come off and were laying in the bottom of the box. The lady pilgrim seemed ok. Maybe they need better packing materials for shipping or stronger glue!
