Love this nutcracker! Glad I was able to get one that still had “Boy Scouts of America” on it to match the organization name my sons attended and earned their Eagle Scout Cute design!

It was a great nutcracker! It honored the Boy Scouts and my grandson who was a Eagle Scout. I was extremely happy to find this nutcracker and proud to give it to my grandson.

Gift for our son who has a nutcracker collection and is also a cub scout leader. He thought it was really cool. He put the other nutcrackers away till next Christmas, but kept this one out. I'd say it was a real winner!

Purchased this for an soon-to-be Eagle Scout for Christmas. It arrived in a nice box with plastic pane and I was immediately impressed. The paint job is quality and detailed. It was a bit pricey, but it would have cost much more at the BSA store if they had such a thing, which they didn't. A great gift idea for any boy scout!

I gave this to my new Eagle Scout teen for Xmas and he loved adding it to his nutcracker collection. It's a perfect way to wrap up the Eagle path and a wonderful addition to the collection. It is well made and has nice details.

I had seen the Boy Scout Nutcracker in December and made a mental note to order it for my son's friend who collects nutcrackers and is an avid boyscout. It was the perfect gift. When his birthday rolled around I went to order and there were only 2 left, but fulfilled by Amazon. I went with the one that said it was in Like New condition. When it arrived I was very disappointed. There were several things wrong with it so I wrote a scathing reason as to why it was going back, that it had been misrepresented, etc. I reluctantly ordered the other one which was in Used - Like New condition with the note of the original packaging might be damaged. I figured it couldn't be any worse than the first one. This one came as described. The original box had been ripped and repaired in one area but did not affect the Boy Scout Seal of Authenticity so I was fine with the packaging. When I pulled it out I was happy to see that all the areas that were bad on the first one were in good condition on this one. In fact, the only problem really was that there was a deep crack in the wood on the cap. I showed it to the boy's mother and we offered to try to fix it, to return it, or to leave it as is. She said to leave it, that he may not even notice it, but if it really needed to be fixed it would make a good project for her son and husband to work on together. When he opened it a few days later she was right. He didn't even notice the crack and it was his favorite gift hands down.My rating of 3 stars is for 2 reasons. It was misrepresented as only having damage to the packaging. It said it was Like New but had a rather severe crack in the cap. The paint job was good, the seals were in the right places, the flag was standing like it should, etc. Overall I doubt the BSofA spent a ton of money producing each one but they are unique and a great gift for scouts of any age.My biggest disappointment was in the way Amazon misrepresented each of them. When an item is Fulfilled by Amazon it is in one of their warehouses waiting to fill an order. I always thought they inspected items they were going to send for 3rd party sellers just to prevent this kind of thing. Apparently that is not always the case. Word of advice, carefully read all the notes as to why something might not be in Brand New Condition. Amazon was great about processing the return, as always, but I don't feel it would have ever come to needing it if it had been labeled appropriately.
