Not the least bit sturdy. It doesn't matter if the dock cables out back aren't blocked, because any movement will tip this over and your unsecured deck will fall out. Not just you, but if you have an arm mounted tv, your unsecured deck will fall out. If you brush it walking by, your unsecured deck will fall out. If you use a wired controller because the Deck is terrible at recognizing Bluetooth controllers, your unsecured deck will fall out.

I guess I should have read better, this type of device is what I needed. My console rack is full, I have no more space and I needed to add my deck to it, no other better place than the wall. I do have a very slim 3rd party dock but, it's not a perfect fit, just about 1/4" too wide for this mount.I used some plyers and bent down the sides till it was as flat as possible, attached to the wall perfectly level, put a 3rd party dock on with some double-sided tape to make sure it does not move, and it works perfectly (see picture)If you want to try this yourself, MAKE SURE your dock is not too deep, you will not have room for the cables, this is big...

Easy to mount, very slim and looks greatI’ve been waiting for somebody to release a wall mount like this for a long time and at first I was sad it said only valve’s dock will fit but I give it a shot with my JSAUX dock which is considerably cheaper and with adding some rubber shims it fitted just perfect and super steady, I only had to buy a L shape HDMI adapter for a better cable connection and all good, great product

This mounted easily enough- drill the holes, insert the drywall plugs, attach screws and it stays well. I wouldn't want to mistake it as a handhold but it will hold some weight. My only complaint of it- it is of course sized for the official dock- of the 5 (yes 5) docks I have, only one fits well. A couple of notches in the metal at the right points could easily accommodate more flexibility. As is I will be sacrificing one to make a more fitted dock. If you have an off brand dock, at the least I would suggest foam or velcro taping to secure it straight in the metal platform.
