These shims are easy to install since you don’t have to take the hinge off the frame. Just loose the screw and it slide right in. Very nice design.

These shims are excellent and inexpensive. They did precisely what one would expect. I simply loosened the four screws in one of the hinges and inserted a shim. After re-tightening the screws, I shut the door, and the it latched perfectly! The entire process only took a couple of minutes!

I didn’t know if these were going to work but I was wrong, they fixed my issue perfectly the door closes now and you cannot tell we had to shim it .Great product.

Thanks to these shims, my door closes correctly, and with the correct gap around the edges. In my situation, the way the old door was installed, the framing was messed up, and I could not replace everything outside of the door frame. I ordered these to shim out a couple of the hinges and they worked well, especially the fact that I did not have to take all of the screws out, I could just loosen them and slide these shims in. Would buy again.

I had a new front door that had a huge gap along a lateral. I had my handyman use these and they did the trick. They were easy to use and snap and were cheap to level the door.

My wife had complained about the door going out to the back porch being drafty. Looking it over, I could see the door wasn't centered in the opening. The gap on the left side was huge while the right was tight in the jam. I tried measuring and decided on the .060" as it was close to 1/16" thickness. These are so easy to use. I loosened the screws on the top and middle, jamming a shim under each one. Then I tightened the top and did the bottom. I ended up using 3 shims to center the door in the jam. Now the door closes perfectly on the weather stripping. No more drafts coming in, even on windy days.
