Good quality steel bracket. Prevents the frame from cracking due to steering stress. Requires welding.

Don’t know if it makes a difference yet but fit perfectly definitely will beef up the bracket. Will work with a stock idler bracket.

This will fit a z71 1500. It won't Bolt and line up exactly along the frame rail, but it does fit the arm and is easily welded to the frame. If you can weld, its not hard to fit.
