When I first introduced the Kore Wobble Chairs into my classroom, I wasn't sure if I was upgrading my seating or launching a tiny wobble Olympics. Five years later, these chairs are still wobbling strong!Picture this: a 6th-8th grade special education class where kids can channel their inner Beyblades while staying seated. The Kore Wobble Chair isn't just a seat; it's a wiggly journey through the day.Pros:-Durability: These bad boys have seen more wiggles than a bowl of Jell-O at a trampoline park.-Flexibility: Perfect for kids who can't sit still but still need to sit.-Price: Wallet-friendly enough that I can afford to keep replacing snacks (because wiggling burns calories, people).-Aesthetic Appeal: Neutral colors blend seamlessly with my classroom decor, which is a bonus when you're trying to keep things looking sharp amid the chaos.Cons:-Comfort: Let's be real, they're not La-Z-Boys, but who needs comfort when you've got wobble? Apparently not middle schoolers. In conclusion, if you want your classroom to feel like a perpetual motion machine, get the Kore Wobble Chair. It's sturdy, it's wobbly, and it's the reason why my classroom is officially declared a "No Grounded Feet Zone."

Such a relief for my 11 year old who wiggles around non-stop. He is vestibular input-seeking so needs to constantly teeter around on his seat to stay awake during online class. Otherwise he falls asleep from inadequate vestibular input. This stool really helps! Also, recommend it for sturdiness. I wouldn't buy the hydraulic kind of stool - this amount of wiggling would break that kind of construction right away.

I bought this for my son. He’s in grade school and uses it in the classroom. It helps him with sitting for long periods of time. It’s a great tool.

The seat is stationary - the base is rounded to allow movement. Highly recommended for a child that needs the movement/input. Very well made and fast shipping.

I do not know exactly why these stools got such amazing reviews. I bought them with a grant for my middle school classroom, which I turned into a flexible seating haven. We have all sorts of seating options to meet the many needs of the individual students. I received this brand, and another popular one as well. Within three months, these Kore stools came apart at the base. So, when you receive it, there are three parts. The top, the bottom, and then the middle bar that holds them together. You put them together through tension and bruit force. No tools. Nothing. The other stools already come from the factory assembled. The students never abused them, and I bought the appropriate size for their age. They just come apart. It is very easy to pop them back into place, but I don't think that is the intention of the manufacturer. So, we cleaned the stools really well, brought them down to the tech ed room, and sealed them up with some type of liquid glue/cement . . . something the shop teacher had. They were good after that. At $100 a stool, I definitely didn't expect them to come apart after only a few months of wear. I have since recommended the other brand to co-workers as a better investment in stools that will actually hold up and not need adjustments over time.

I order the 16" junior chair for a 4th grade classroom. It arrived fairly quickly considering there was a weekend and a holiday right after I ordered. It has worked well to help a child on the spectrum focus, but should be used on carpet or a rug. Originally it was used on tile and it kept sliding. A small rug made a world of difference and suddenly it stayed in place and he was able to focus on his school work. It was easy to assemble. Time will tell if once the novelty wears off if it will continue to help, but so far it has been worth the money and an asset to the classroom.

If you have a wiggly & kinaesthetic learner of a child, this will be a great help if they need to sit & do any kind of 'still' work. Daughter (8) uses this & she can squirm about while she does school work. It's perfect! It has not yet caused her to topple over, but I guess if a kid is squirmy enough, they could... This works great for use at a little kid's table for height, or lower table, (as it won't work for a desk or kitchen table), as it would be too low. I plan to get the teen size for our office desk & when she works in there. That would be a better height. Its a solid & well-made still with enough movement to keep daughter happy.

I really do like this chair. It is a lot of fun to sit on & already I can feel muscles working that haven't had to work in a while. I was a bit concerned when I put it together that it didn't seem that secure but as I sat on it & moved it around, it seemed to lock in tighter. I do have a couple issues which lead to me giving this only 4 stars.First, the seat is really hard. Maybe for a kid it isn't that big of an issue, but I'm an adult & not used to sitting on hard plastic all day. I tried using a balance seat (those round inflatable exercise cushions) like I read about in another review but that did not work at all, it made the seat too high for my desk & felt really unstable. I finally ordered a custom seat cushion from another website & life is good there. My second & more concerning issue is how this chair slips. I have it at my desk at work & it sits on a chair mat. If I'm not careful, it will slip out from under me. I'm not sure if it is my lack of gracefulness or a combination of the plastic chair on a plastic mat or just the chair itself. I'm going to try it out on a couple different surfaces to see what works best. Like it said, it could just be me but I did want to mention it. Be careful until you get used to it.All in all, I'm glad I purchased this chair. I'm transitioning from a traditional office to chair to a combination of this chair & standing part time. I think it will work well for my purposes.
