I wanted to buy one of these stools after sitting on one during my child's 4th grade teacher conference. I was interested in something with a smaller footprint for my workspace at home, and the wobble effect is a fun diversion.I considered others, but my kids insisted on same brand as in their classrooms. Seemed quite expensive for moulded plastic furniture, but it's imported, looks okay and feels very sturdy with my 6'2, 200lbs male frame.Alas, this is a child's seat. And though it's easy, functional and fun, it becomes really uncomfortable after about 90 minutes. Not on my back—on my butt. Adding a seat cushion did not help. I ended up moving it to one of my kid's bedrooms, where it gets daily use and enjoyment. And I'll consider other options for myself.

These are the stools my sons school provides the whole classroom. We decided to get it while virtual learning at home. The stool is very smooth when it rocks. Very pleased with the quality.

Not suitable for an adult. Not sure about a child. Very lightweight & seems highly overpriced. Also I had to pay almost $60 to return it. I do NOT recommend.

I bought it for my son who has ADHD and sensory processing issues. I was thinking it would help more than a wiggle cushion (workout balance cushion) or the like and he'd get more movement which would help him focus. I find this more difficult because it almost falls over too easily when a kiddo is moving around on it. It was actually almost a little more distracting than just having a wiggle cushion. I wish I hadn't paid so much for it but I was somewhat desperate at the time and willing to try lots of things. This seemed to have decent reviews so I gave it a shot. For spending about 120 dollars, I wish I would have spent maybe only 50 or 60 max or not purchased it at all. I will say however that is good quality and constructed well for what it is.

Absolute best stool for active sitting on the market! Great for a quick meeting, a break from your regular chair, and easy to carry around because it is so light-weight. There is no substitute for the Hokki stool for your school or workplace!

Despite not having any cushion on the top, this stool is surprisingly comfortable. I use it for work, sitting 3 hours at a stretch. Already, my posture has improved.
