I needed a n inexpensive set of hand drums to play with a group. This was a nice value. The white mallets are just wood missing the rubber mallet covers which is kinda weird, but it works for what I need.

These were purchased for a preschool play group and they have performed perfectly. It is all boys, ages 2-5 in the class and they all love the drums.

These drums sound really good and for a great price. Bought these for women's drumming circles I host, and they are perfect.

These have a very lousy, no-descript thud sound. The drumheads are loosely on. Yes, you get what you pay for but just decorate and play a generic brand tupperware bowl and you'll get a better sound.

These have been great for my 3 and 4 year olds in my preschool music class. The sound is good enough for the purpose we use it for (rhythm activities). I also have a more expensive hand drum made with real tanned hide that sounds much better than these, but again it's expensive. So I was happy to find an affordable option for my class. The mallets are a great size for them and a great material. I did have one drum that had the border start coming off, but I glued it back and it's still working fine. Overall happy with my purchase.
