Teenage son went camping with Boy Scouts in an area where hammocks were allowed with extra tree protection.These did great for his hammock - easy to use and did the job protecting the trees.

I purchased these straps to go along with suction cup hooks to help to know that my Christmas Tree will still be standing every day when I get home. I have 2 very playful cats. So far the straps and holding steady and they are the perfect length for this use. They come with a nice bag to store them in btw each Christmas season.
