I originally had 100 foot metal tape and needed some thing a little longer Once I bought a house and was doing projects in and out of the house. The fiberglass tape is sturdy and solid. I like one sides fluorescent on the other sides not. Easy to carry, it comes with a stake So you can work by yourself if needed and it as long enough for general use needs at least for me. It may not be the cheapest, but I think it’s worth the price. Even the plastic carry handle seems solid and sturdy.

This item worked perfectly. I needed it to measure in an old cemetery.

This measuring is vital to my role as my HOAs ARC. Often we need to measure distances greater than 25, 50 or even 100 feet and this tool allows me to do it in one step and more accurately than when using a shorter measure.

Das Maßband wird im Titel mit 30m beworben. Die Skala beinhaltet allerdings keine Meter-Angaben sondern lediglich Ft.

Nice quality for the price, work's good. I use it a couple times and nothing to say about the products except good words.

I purchased two of these at 200' and a Dewalt 300' tape to layout and flag for 3500 tree plantings. Working solo I pulled at near maximum length all of these many times across my planting area to get a consistent 12x12 and squared layout on a terraced old field. These have been much much easier to use than the Dewalt in pulling out and reeling in. I didn't check the accuracy but it seems to be good and has held up without stretching in that my rows are very much visually straight in all directions. I did check one against the other when I thought I had pulled too much and too hard on one - they lined up perfectly.

After reading some of these reviews I'm not sure we a talking about the same product. I estimate to have have bought about 60 - 100' tape measures over the years. Tried everything I could get my hands on. Most tapes were junk which failed in a couple months Finally settled on the KOBALT product line from Lowes but now they are unavailable. Bought 2 of these in 2021 and another 2022. They are light weight, very durable, and came in perfect condition. Ideal for hard everyday use in the severe weather & terrain conditions here in Maine. Have not so-far worn out the tape itself on any of mine. The reels might get worn or broken but the tape is still good. Did have an issue with the 2022 units as the little prongs on the clasp disappeared too soon. This is an issue on all tapes. Thought I had a winner because the prongs on the beat-up 2021 units are in still better shape than the 2022 units. When are the manufacturers going to realize that the gear reduction thing makes for a junk product? Don't try to give me one. No more room to hang this junk in my shed. Will be purchasing the Komelon unless I find a better product.

I've had to purchase quite a few of these over the years. A good amount of thought went into the design of this one. The fast wind is quite handy. The tape seems well made, hopefully it lasts longer than the others. Overall it seems like a better tool than others i have bought.

I needed a long tape measure to measure distances on my 1.5 acre property for an application that I was putting in with my county. having 200 feed of tape really helps and it sure beats measuring things at 25 or 50 foot increments! This tape reel comes with a stake that you can use to anchor the end while you are unreeling the tape. As you near the end, there is some red printing that tells you to stop unwinding it, although it goes a little bit past 200 feet. The quality is solid and I'm very happy with that, considering that this item is not very expensive. The tape is sturdy and the markings on it are clear. The reel itself is plastic but quite solid. Winding up the tape when I was finished proved to be very fast and the tape didn't tangle at all. There are some 200-feet tape measures on here that cost more since you're paying for a better-known brand name, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one and save some cash.

I've been using this for about 2 months now. I bought it for doing some landscaping work in my yard, but have found it surprisingly useful. I'm finding myself using it more and more instead of using regular tape measures.Pros: - Quality constuction - Price - Easy to clean tape if used outdoors in dirt and mud - Metal hook on end of tape grabs onto many things easilyCons: - Plastic Orange Stake is ridiculously hard to detach. It mounts to a hole on opposide side of the handle. I've removed it twice and had to pull so hard to snap it loose I thought for sure it would break something. I don't know what they were thinking when they approved that design. I don't install the stake on the side anymore for fear I will damage it. I just carry it separatly. Kind of a hassle, but I don't really need the stake most of the time anyway. I can usually get away with end of the tape grabs onto most things. - Tape has measurements of Feet with 10ths of feet on yellow side. White side has Feet with inches. I don't use 10ths of feet, so it is a con for me, but a pro for others who use it. I often find myself measure something incorrectly and have to flip it over.Even with the cons, I haven't seen anything else close to the quality of the Komelon 6611 within the same price range, so I still give it 5 stars. Very happy with it.
