These are easy to install, align, bend and adjust. You need a hammer and piece of wood to prevent damaging them or a rubber mallet. Goes in quickly and creates a subtle clean edge.

I’ve bought 6 boxes of this so far. We used it to edge/build a walkway going down the side of the house. The spikes on the bottom make it easy to hammer into the ground if you don’t live on a gravel vein like we do. The 2 inch height is perfect to hold in pea gravel and pavers. I also didn’t want it so tall that I would be tripping over it. The 40 inch length of each piece is kind of a bummer. The “staples” are ok and work great where there’s no rocks. So for some pieces, I used some metal landscape spikes from Home Depot that have a 90 degree bend at the top but hammered it down to go over the top of the edging to help hold it in place. You don’t want this if you want long curves because of the shorter pieces. It’s very sturdy and I’m happy with it. I hammered the heck out of it and didn’t bend a single piece of the actual edging. Oh and it’s best to wait for cooler weather because apparently wasps don’t like a lot of banging and vibrations close to their nests. If you don’t know where their nest is, you will when you start hammering this stuff in. So maybe go ahead and add some wasp spray to your cart, too.

I wish I had purchased the 6” instead of the 4” because the height includes the teeth that are pounded into the ground.
