Product Description

Taking its design cues from traditional Craftsman furniture, the Archer line of baths reveals beveled edges and curved bases for a clean, sophisticated style. A slotted overflow drain allows for a luxuriously deep bath, while the integral lumbar support provides additional comfort during your soak.

From the Manufacturer

The Archer bath features Comfort Depth design, a deep soaking experience with a low step-over height. This exclusive design offers a relaxing bath experience that is easy to enter and exit. Water depth is raised to the same level as a standard 20" - 21" tall bath through the unique slotted overflow. The transitional aesthetic of the Archer Suite also complements many different bathroom décors.

Leaked at overflow drain.Kohler replaced drain. 2nd plumber who is another highly regarded local professional installed new overflow drain, same problem. It appears to be a design flaw that the flange plate that connects the overflow to the tub is too flimsy to adequately seal the overflow system to the tub and create an airtight/water tight connection.Customer Very dissatisfied.Currently have removed ceiling below tub, water still comes out at drain when ever bath is used. My client is deciding whether to pursue legal action, or give up and shell out for new, not Kohler tub.Additionally the faucet bought to go with this, also by Kohler does not sit vertically on the tub deck which had a minor pitch. Appears to be leaning into the bath. Not sure how they would sell these as a set.

Fiberglass cracked at opposite end of drain after 22 months of limited use. Kohler then saw the review (previous sentence) and sent a local contractor to verify that the crack was not caused by misuse - even though the tub was out of warranty. It was not misuse and the contractor fixed the crack. Naturally, I still worry about structural integrity, but Kohler's response was commendable - if not anticipated. The repair failed approximately 2 months later. The crack remains.

Beautiful, deep soaking tub. Easy for my husband (an accomplished diy-er) to install. He did something different than the directions indicated for the drain which he felt made it easier. We replaced a tub shower insert. Husband built the tub frame from specs and tub fit perfectly. Not the deepest soaking tub available (American Standard makes one with 18" depth instead of Kohlers 15") but we got this one for a steal due to an open package, and this tub is comfortable and more than just adequate.

This bath tub was just as promised. It looks great in the bathroom, very modern! No problems at all with quality, condition or finish. An extra perk--my cats loved playing in the huge box--a real Kitty Condo!

This is the best bath tub I have ever been in, ever. It is so deep that when it is full I can submerge my shoulders. I bought it for the price, but was amazed when it was installed. It is also light and easy to handle. I am short, so it may not accommodate others in quite the same way, but it is still amazingly deep.

I tried out the 72 inch by 36 inch archer in a showroom and that was the most comfortable tub I have ever been in. Due to the size of my bathroom I had to go with the 60 inch by 32 inch sight unseen. I do love this tub but I wish it had a 34 inch width size to give you just a little more room.

I assume everyone already knows that you can have your bathwater a little deeper in this series of Kohler tubs because of the horizontal design of the overflow drain. I like the ridge or ledge along the sides of this tub. It gives you a place to rest your foot while standing and soaping up and also a place to push your hands and arms against when getting up. I've seen tubs that were virtual traps because of the smooth sides. Nice design devoid of embellishments which would date the design. It do find it odd that Kohler's matching shower receptor -- the base for a separate shower -- is 36" deep when the tub is only 32" deep. It means that if you want to put a matching tub and shower side-by-side they won't be the same depth.
