Great for hunting, large and strong enough for transporting deer. Easy to pull with little effort needed. Slides easily. Easy to wash. Recommended for open areas vs thick areas of brush/trees as it can be difficult to maneuver due to it's size. This sled works great for hauling wood, yard items etc. as well.

Besides the obvious use of hauling my gear out on the ice it has proven to be a great way to move firewood around. Rugged enough to do both.

I’m very pleased with this purchase!! It’s easily towable, (I mostly use it to put large sacks of bird seed in it during the winter to pull around to the back of the house (area not accessible by car) and large enough to carry a full load at once.

I have a very steep, long driveway ... house is at the bottom. Because the sled has high sides, it keeps all my bags of groceries secure. When there's snow, I leave my cars at the top because they might get stuck if I drive them to the bottom. I load up the sled and literally "kick" it off. It slides by itself all the way down. It typically crashes into the garage, but rarely spills any groceries. I use it ever single week in Winter.

We have tried several sleds or even large pieces of cardboard to haul hay from our shed 100 ft to our winter horse paddock. We would lose the stack of hay halfway when the sled tipped over and have to stop to reload it or take off our gloves to hang onto the cardboard. After three trips we were breathing hard and exhausted. This sled was wonderful. It was missing a rope but we put our own on it and it worked so well I’m not going to gripe about a missing rope. It is easy to pull and wide enough to hold a large load without tipping. Great sled!

This is a very high quality sled with durability built in that should last for decades. This isnt flimsy at all. It's rugged and stiff. You can load it full of your ice fishing gear, a deer, firewood or whatever else you like up to a couple hundred pounds and be assured it will hold up just fine. I move firewood and deer nin my other one. This one will do the same but in a different loaction.

Get your own sturdy rope, cut out a pair of 3" circles 1/2" thick. Put the new rope thru holes in outside of sled and then thru holes in middle of 3" circles, before retiyng knots. This spreads the stress of the rope knots out over a larger area. I'm 63 with health issues, lost alot of strength from this.I couldnt pull 150 lbs in this sled more than 20 feet across a flat mown yard. Snow maybe easier. I bought this to haul out a deer this hunting season. Not gonna work for me,thats on me,not the sled. You may want to try somebodys sled before buying.
