I bought this for my grandson as his first camera and intro to photography. Growing up I was always one with a camera with me at all times. Because of that, I have about 50 years of photo memories with friends and family. I had talked to him about the fun of capturing a moment that made your smile, or moved you. He loved this thing! It may not take the most crisp photo’s, but it lives up to today’s kids need for instant gratification. (Remember the days of having to drop off your film to the local photo place and waiting days to see what you had shot?!) No more of this with this camera. He loves it and I love to see him smile as he uses it and shows me his important moments. Everybody should have one of these just for the fun of it!

Wanted to love this but have not been able to successfully print. The installed cartridge it came with kept spitting out blank pages. The app said to try reloading the cartridge and that led to the colored sheets within coming physically out of the printer when trying to print again. Tried a completely new cartridge & the same thing happened. Reached out to Kodak via email (since the customer service phone number and chat are conveniently unavailable) and it's been nearly two weeks and I have not yet heard back. So disappointed and guess I'll just have to tell the person who gifted this to me that it's dysfunctional and try to help them return it to get their money back (which makes ME feel horrible too).Shame on Kodak for HORRIBLE customer service, I might have just received a lemon item but who could know if there's no customer/troubleshooting support.

The thin film that is inside the cartridge kept jamming itself so the camera could not bring the paper back inside to continue printing-- Id get a sliver of yellow completed and then it would stop. Upon removing the cartridge to see what's up, the printer itself had torn the thin film.even reloading the cartridge leaves huge opportunities for tearing.I went through two cartridges trying to just get one photo to print properly.when I finally put in the third cartridge in just to further troubleshoot, I finally got a picture out of it. Third time's the charm, I guess, but a huge bummer when I'm $100+ in for it.edit: I got a replacement and the replacement printer had the same exact issues, so Im revising this to 1 star from 2. clearly there's an engineering issue here and it's such a bummer.

This products did not work from the start. I followed the instructions, I tried printing the first photo, it didn’t print properly, I tried a second, it jammed and ripped the film. The second only printed half the yellow and jammed. I changed the original film with a new one to see if it wasn’t sitting in probably. It printed 5 photos well, then it randomly jammed on the 6th and I hadn’t changed or touched anything. The next photo only did about half the yellow and then jammed again. I reset the film, it jammed again.Also, it does not come with charging cord.

öncelikle cihaz kurulumu vs çok basit kullanımı güzel kalitesi harika ancak ben Türkiye de yaşıyorum ve yazıcı kağıtları asla Türkiye de bulunmuyor amazonda da yok! sadece Kodak kendi sitesinde var ancak Türkiye ye teslimat yok olsa da çok pahalı! cihaz benim için çöp oldu :( çok üzgünüm kızımın fotoğraflarından anı defteri yapıyordum maalesef artık yapamayacağım.

Batteria che non tiene minimamente la carica, stampe di qualità orribile, la stessa immagine stampata tre volte di seguito risulta con tre definizioni diverse che vanno dal pessimo al mediocre. Sono disgustato da come il marchio Kodak sia stato gettato nel fango da prodotti come questo. Non lo restituisco solo perché mi sentirei in imbarazzo avendo già consumato diversi fogli di carta fotografica.

I remember, as a child, the excitement when my father brought home our first Polaroid instant camera. The shear joy of taking a picture, removing it from the camera and then waiting for the picture to develop before removing the paper cover to reveal the print. The quality wasn't great, but the ability to see the print right away was addictive. Now, nearly 50 years later instant photography has finally been perfected. Of course it's not the same process but the finished result is beautiful, bright, and clean prints.This Kodak printer has a lot going for it. First, it's small, portable and very simple to set up and use.. It comes with a cartridge of 8 3"x3" photos and extra cartridges of 30 prints are readily available (with 2 coming with the deluxe package). I ordered the kit which comes with 2 30 print cartridges, a carrying case, a picture album and a whole raft of other accessories.The setup couldn't be simpler. Download the Kodak app, Turn on the printer and you'll be able to pair the camera with the phone's Bluetooth. Then you'll select a picture from your phones storage, edit it and tell it to print. The camera uses a 4 pass dye sublimation process. That means that it lays sequentially 3 layers of colors ( the 3 primaries like you learned in grade school), one on top of the previous and a 4th lamination coat. With each pass the picture emerges from the printer and gets pulled back in for the next. It's pretty quick and the resulting print is a high gloss, sharp colorful print unlike anything you can get from an inkjet or laser printer.I love everything about this printer except for the 3"x3" print. I wish that the prints were 4"x6" or larger. I'm sure that's coming in the near future. But in the meantime, to be able to snap photos with your phone and print them immediately is a miracle all its own, even if the prints are smaller than I would like.
