Did a lot of research on this reader and was totally satisfied. It's kinda hard to read comics but asides from that, I have no complaints. The screen has ample size and the dark mode is adjustable to add more comfort at night.

My 9 year old daughter is a huge reader, this has been perfect and I love the strict and simple parental control. Its expensive but absolutely worth it for us.

I love this eReader! I have the libra colour as well, but really wanted a more portable version for when I'm running around all day and waiting at appointments. I also find this size to be more manageable when reading laying down. The colors are great and I absolutely love the waterproof feature!

I decided with some trepidation to try Kobo rather than buying my 8th Kindle. I was annoyed by all the ads on Kindle. I'm very happy with my decision for several reasons. It's a great device. I can see the cover of my book instead of ads. The brightness interface is much more convenient than Kindle. It's easier to get to your library, so it's much easier to switch between 2 books. It's also easier to get to the store and back to your book.Showing the cover instead of ads is really nice. I can finally remember the title of the book I'm reading!It's also much simpler to read samples. You don't have to download the samples, you just click 'read sample'.The first book I searched (Battle of the Beams) wasn't available for me on Kindle, but it's available on Kobo.On the downside I can't read my Kindle books, obviously and I think I prefer the Kindle font. The kindle was also a bit lighter.

I was so excited about getting a color ereader but don't waste your money on this trash. THERE IS NO DARK MODE. You cannot set your menu to dark mode, you can only set your reading to dark mode. This is a horrible design flaw. I have light sensitive eyes so dark mode is a must for me as I often read at night in bed. If I navigate away from the page to pick another book, the menu can ONLY be displayed in light mode. You can enter developer settings to invert your colors as the only way to fix this BUT then all of your book covers are inverted as well. The only other option is to sideload other software to change your settings. It's ridiculous that an ereader has no option for a true dark mode on the device. Will be returning this asap.

The Kobo Clara Color arrived in good condition and I've already started my first book. The screen looks a little grainy due to the addition of color but it isn't too noticable once you're reading. Overall quality seems good for now considering the price. The screen is also quick to respond compared to my older Kindle.

La nitidez de la pantalla es muy buena, asΓ como la iluminaciΓ³n de la pantalla. Lo he probado con un comic y, si bien la pantalla es demasiado pequeΓ±a, el poder verlos en color es otro nivel. My first e-reader! I have been quite skeptical about having an e-reader but so far i feel like i made a great choice. I decided to go with it as i love reading books on plants, flowers and sometimes even food recipes and this was the best+ cheapest option as i travel quite often. A device that is light, compact and colored. Also i live outside of USA. So easy to use other environment apart from Amazon. Transfer of pdfs from my computer is very easy. Have been using for a week now after my first recharge. So far so good but will come back with update after 3 months.

I have been using ereaders since they first came out, and I have a collection of Kindles and Kobos. I had fairly low expectations for the Clara colour, given the price and some reviews complaining about the washed out colours and the hazy text. I must say I am really surprised at how good the display is for both colours and text! Seeing your book covers in colour, and being able to highlight in different colours is fantastic, and really adds to the ereading experience for me. I had trouble deciding between the Clara and the larger Libra, but I am glad I chose the Clara. I really like the smaller, lighter size which makes it easy to hold and read on. I also really like the minimalist design, with only the charging port and the recessed power button on the back. The texturized lower back and lower part on the front feel comfortable and pleasant. Great job Kobo!
