Works well for tree lights. A bit fragile so best left in place. Light chases don’t have a lot of variation and there are only the four colors red, blue ,green and yellow. Ok for a Christmas tree.

It was easy to install and the lights are so bright. I really liked the product. However, the reason I am giving it 3 stars only is because the next day, some of the lights were no longer working and a week after more lights were no longer working. At this point I doubt the lights are going to make it to Christmas or December at least…

I spent all day putting up a 164 ft set of these lights and got down to the end ( literally the last remaining 18 inches). I bent the lights slightly to go around a corner they broke. The ENTIRE light set went out . Don't waste your time like I unfortunately did. Find better quality elsewhere.

See the title - these are not going to light up a room - but they work well, are easy to install / hang.Remote reaches about 15’ (“on” reaches further than “off”, interestingly enough).I use these in a basement workshop, as they provide enough illumination to see my way around the shop, and turn on the task lighting if it is needed.If you are not a shop nerd, they do have other pattens and decreasing illumination. I played with it a bit when I first hung the lights, and it all worked fine.

We are building a camper van and I wanted some LED lights that would run off of our 12v system to make the inside of the van pretty. These DO!! I just need a USB port and plug in and it's all ready to go! I like very much the remote control, you can select multiple color options or even mix it up with "Asyn Fade" & "Asyn Jump" buttons for many colors. There was one time when I was using single color and 1 light was "off" and it would remain an odd color even when changing colors, but after unplugging and turning the lights off completely, then back on that went away. What still remains is a set of 4-3 lights that always remain the same (all right next to each other) and they change in unison. I wish those lights would be different colors during the "asyn" settings but that is not that big of a deal to me. Overall I am very happy with these lights. My biggest complaint is the "timer" setting, which I still can't figure out how to use properly. The box says they will go on for 6 hours and off for 18. What I am noticing is they go off for a little while and then back on randomly. I can't figure out the pattern. It would be better if the timer button acted like a "sleep timer" so when you pressed it depending on how often it blinked it would go off in 30 mins, 60 mins, 90 mins etc. But no. That doesn't work this way. Even with my complaints I'm still giving this 5 stars because I am very happy with these lights. They are perfect for me!
