Price is almost double that of the OEM filter, however, just based on physical features of the KN oil filter, it appears to be inferior to the OEM Nissan/Cummins/Fleetguard filter. Reasons below:MAIN REASON - Oil Inlet Ports on base plate. As you can see in the first picture, the KN filter has only has 6 oil inlet ports vs the OEM which has 8. Also notice that the ports on the KN are SMALLER than OEM and (dont know if this a MFG error on KN's part, but one of the ports is actually BIGGER than the others (see bottom left port in picture of KN filter)).-Gasket. The gaskets are similar in dimensions and material, but it appears the KN is more recessed into the filter base plate. See 2nd pic.-Capacity. A very minute detail, which more than likely has absolutely NO affect on performance, but as seen in the 3rd picture, the overall length of the KN filter is just SLIGTHLY smaller than the OEM due to the integrated removal nut.*Note - KN nor OEM has anti-drainback valve (even though its stated on the KN packaging), likely due to the oil filter mounting orientation on the engine.Unfortunately I do not have any filter media data, but based off these physical issues, I expect it to NOT exceed OEM specs.I like the integrated nut though...but that's it, but not worth almost double the cost of OEM. Returned.

I got this for my Cummins powered Nissan Titan XD. It fits and works well but is overpriced compared to the actual Cummins store which sells Fleetguard filters for a third of the price.
