Me gusta el renombre de la marca pero la construcción no es lo que esperaba. Aunque espero que la tecnología de filtrado sea muy buena. El que traía mi Mercedes es Austriaco (MAHLE). y tiene una construcción soberbia. Lo bueno que este es solo para el medio ciclo de los 15 mil kms. Pero estaba a buen precio.

K&N has always been great filters. These are excellent. Especially for the price. I always cut it open after removal and I can see plenty of carbon.

I have used over a dozen of these particular filters on two different vehicles. I normally change it every 4K miles and change the oil every 8K miles. No filter on the market is rated for more than 10K miles. The people complaining here are just confused by difference between the oil change mileage requirement by the car manufacture and the rated mileage on the filter. Changing the filter more often with cheaper ones is a lot better than changing less often with a super duper expensive one.

Fit & finish exceeds expectation . The price for a K & N product was way better than most.The only question remains about Longevity , i guess an update in 6 months is in the offing .

It's K&N, excellent product.No complains. Keeps my long life oil lasting very long and clean.Been testing this in my Mercedes, does seem to keep the oil a lot cleaner than OEM and the oil seems to flow better.Had an oil overheating warning light come on once while going over a mountain that we've traveled for hundreds of times. But, this time and oil was older than normal. I'm hoping this filter will keep the oil cleaner for longer and have better flow.

running them in a 2008 c300, 2008 c350, 2002 s500, 2006 s430.... seams to be working ok.... i know it has plastic and people say its bad.... but its been working well so far.... and its a little cheaper then the mann filter.... i don't think this is better then stock but i think its about the same..... but it is k&n so has brand power...

Drive a Mercedes SL55 and usually take it to the dealer for an oil change. Was taking the car to leave at the beach house and forgot to get an oil changed before I left for the summer. Went on Amazon to see what I could find to fit the car and came across the K & N oil filter. I have K & N air filters in all of my personal cars and motorcycles so thought what the heck. Very well constructed as expected by K & N.
