Got as Fathers Day Gift last year. Overall I really like/liked the unit when I have time to use it.We moved shortly after so it was not unpacked for some time. In the past year I have only had opportunity three times. This last time (3rd) it is setting E4 error and will not heat kettle.Contacted supplier support via Amazon and got refund. Their customer service was all over it. Already got refund and will order replacement.

Has made my brewing so much easier, set timer, and forget it.... only wish it had the lid cut out to use it for distilling... something I will have to do later when I am not so busy..

As many others, I bought this for homebrewing (brand new home brewer larger than 1 gallon batches). First wort I went to make, all-grain with a false bottom, I got an E4 error before even boil level was reached.I moved the wort and scrubbed the bottom, per advice I found online, but it failed to remedy the error.I am returning and will go propane from now on.

I like nearly everything about it. Works as expected. I do wish it had an easier way to secure the grain basket for draining/sparging besides the ring. It’s hard to lift the basket and get the ring in place by yourself.

Really impressed at this system for the money. Only brewed about 4 batches so far but man, I love this thing. Easy to use, works great! Heard up 7 gallons to mash temp in an hour or less.

Product not as described. Actually a 1600w unit not 3000w. Painfully slow to boil but it gets there. Control unit does not look like nor does it function as advertised the 3.5 hr timer does not function. Unit shuts itself off in the middle of your mash. Three brew days later it still works but you gotta keep an eye on your mash temps you can not walk away and hope that the control unit will keep the system on. Product has no volume marks as advertised. Maybe look elsewhere for a better product.

Werkt zeer goed. Eerste keer zonder problemen. 2e keer koekte het wort aan door te hard doorroeren waarna mout resten op de bodem aankoekte. Oplossing mout groffer malen, of een brouwzak gebruiken. Nu werkt hii feilloos. Her verschil met pannen zoals eerder is een verademing.

Bij het maken van bier geeft de ketel op een gegeven moment de melding E 4 en slaat af.(De wort koekt aan op de bodem). Roeren heeft weinig zin omdat je niet op de bodem kan komen doordat de binnenketel met zeef erin zit. Zo is deze ketel waardeloos om in te koken.

Zunächst einmal, blitzartige Lieferung. Was sich mir jedoch nie erschliessen wird, ist warum ein stabiler Karton noch einmal in einen weiteren Karton verpackt werden muss...Beim Auspacken bereits beeindruckt von der Verarbeitungsqualität und dem Finish des Gerätes. Das setzt sich bei der Inbetriebnahme fort. Einfache Programmierung der Heizung, dank zweier Heizstufen auch schnelles Aufheizen und sicheres Halten der programmierten Temperatur. Die Schalthysterese der Heizung könnte für meine Anwendung etwas enger sein, aber für das Bierbrauen ist diese sicher optimal. Mein Fazit, guter, Preisgünstiger Braukessel, ich würde ihn wieder kaufen. Sie sollten sich allerdings zusätzlich ein Rührwerk gönnen, wir haben teilweise vier Rasten von 45- 60 minuten, da wird der Arm schnell lahm, wenn Sie das mit dem Braupaddel rühren wollen.

Très bonne cuve, je vais tester une fermentation au petit épeautre pour commencer. C'est vraiment génial de pouvoir faire sa propre bière à la maison en ayant un suivie sur toute les matières premières et ainsi éviter les pesticides.L'ensemble est vraiment bien fini et devrais durer dans le temps.

Bought it on a cyber monday deal. My original setup was a turkey fryer with an aluminum pot. I have been looking to upgrade to a stainless steel electric system and this was the cheapest setup I can buy. I got the 30L kettle to accommodate the full boil volume on 5 gallon system. No instructions came with the machine, but it is pretty self explanatory. There is a switch between 1000watts and 1600watts. It took around 20 minutes to boil 6 gallons of wort. Set the temp to 216 degrees to boil to accommodate for time it takes to register temp drop and kick on heater. I had it on a 20amp circuit and even ran some other small kitchen appliances on the same circuit with no issues. The legs on the bottom of the grain basket are pretty cheap but they still work. The wort chiller worked excellent! Just bought a pump for circulation and controlled sparge. Brew is fermenting can't wait to try it!
