I was very disappointed with this stool. It broke after 2 months and no, the weight limit was not met. Only stood on it a couple times before it broke. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. Would not recommend.

The stool is light weight and is not an eye sore compared to other similar models. However, when it folds or opens it’s easy to get your fingers smashed. Maybe I’m missing the trick of how to do it safely but that was my first impression.

So far it supports my toddler’s weight (25 lbs) a lot better than my own weight (220 lbs). It’s made of plastic so it flexes and makes a creaking noise when I stand on it, can’t speak to its longevity yet.One of the stools I ordered came partially damaged at one of the hinges, so I’m a little nervous to use it. This may have happened during shipping, there’s no way to tell if it’s a quality control issue. It still works, I just have to reinsert the plastic hinge every time I open the stool.The feet slide on both hardwood and tile floors, which is a problem when toddlers are the primary users. I’ve had to install non-slip pads to the bottom to keep them safe.All in all, I like the look (though the pinkish looking one is definitely more redish in person) but I’m not terribly impressed with the quality.

Used very lightly over the course of 6 weeks. Used about once a week. One of the little plastic nubbins that lock the stool into place completely broke off. Now the stool will start to fold up with any amount of weight on the top. The stool never wanted to lock into place. If you must have this particular stool, ensure that it locks out well and that it is locked completely out before each use.Changed to five stars because they gave me a full refund after the return window closed.
