After my 10 year old can opener lost its 100% opening capabilities started missing a few spots on a few cans. I scheduled a return but was late getting to the UPS store. This little opener is cute but why have it if it doesn’t work every time especially if it’s new. So I’m stuck with it now.

This is the gold standard of automatic can openers. Very stable and lasts a long time. The blade is very sharp and can cut open all the cans that have thrown at it. This is great for larger cans like tomatoes and beans.

Works great, but not the same as a traditional can opener. This device cuts the entire top bead off. Can be messy with say, a can of tuna packed in water. But it works, is idiot proof, if a little slow.

This can opener only opens 1.5, # 10 cans on a full charge. Got it hoping it would help out when I have 7 of the big #10 cans i needed to open. It does a good job on the one, but after that you need to charge again for about 2 hrs to get thru the next. It is easy to use, but pretty useless in my opinion. Get the one that needs batteries, it works much better.I only use it once a month, and was out of my return time window.

I had one of the other Kitchen Mama can openers that ran off of triple a batteries and loved it. Just didn’t like having to replace batteries all the time. When I seen that there was a rechargeable one i had to have it to. Now my grandma has my other one and she loves about as much as me. She says it is so easy for her to use ( she has really bad arthritis in her hands.) why didn’t i get her one sooner.

This is a great little opener! It works on basically any kind of can, shape or size. I like the ease of use ~ you simply place it on the can, press the button and away it goes and stops automatically when done! Leaves a clean safe edge on the can too! The charge will last for up to 150 standard can openings. There is also a second blade specifically for large (6lb. plus) cans and the blade switches out in seconds.

This little gadget kind of makes me laugh, as I have a love/hate relationship with it. I might even give it a name. It does work but it's a bit of a challenge to get it to the right spot for it to work it's magic. It does work, but getting the *spot* is mentally challenging. Once it has the *spot* it is immensely satisfying to see it work. It doesn't take long to get the magic place, and it's kind of fun to get there. Ok, I am weird (?) but I like it. It does take a long time for it to charge, but I have been opening cans 2x daily for a week and it hasn't needed to recharged yet.
