Did an excellent job helping with even distribution of the water over the puck after my original one needed replacement.

The IMS shower screen and cafelat 8.5mm gasket were an excellent fit for my 2019 Gaggia classic. The shower screen is an exact fit and provides a very even distribution of water. Note, a new center screw is not provided so do not discard the old screw when removing your old screen. Using the supplied silicon grease, the Cafelat gasket was an excellent fit. One side of the gasket is slightly rounded and the other side is flat. The flat side should face the portafilter. Very impressed with the package.Don’t do like me and wait too long to replace your old gasket. When my old gasket started to leak I found that it was rock hard and had cemented itself to the side and base of the Gaggia. I tried attaching a screw into the gasket to then pry it out but the gasket was too brittle. With the help of a sharpened old screw driver, a wood punch and a rubber mallet I carefully removed the old gasket a quarter of an inch at a time. Won’t wait too long long next time!
