Will not fit Breville 58mm brew group. Measures all the same as my current basket, except, lip is about 0.060" too tall, it wont allow the dogs to engage the ramps in the head.

Item is not magnetic material so portafilter funnel does not stay attached. Item does not stay in portafilter when knocking puck out.

I had to order this twice...first delivery was of an empty Amazon mailer bag. The side seam had come apart and the basket was gone. Anyway, I got the basket and it gave me a really good espresso once dialed in. This is supposed to be a flat bottom basket but the metal is so thin, it obviously goes convex under pressure. IMS has a competition basket which is designed to be convex...the Big Bang is convex when in use so I'm guessing the espresso it yields is similar. Nonetheless, this has given me the best cup of espresso I've pulled in my approximate 1 year of "coffee nerddom". For 22 bucks, I can't complain too much. 4 1/2 stars due to the flexibility of the stainless steel. I wonder how many shots I can pull before it splits open? This was offered by Miicoffee. There are other sellers charging more for the same basket. Search around before purchase! I'm using this with a Rancilio Silvia with a PID mod. The machine ships with non pressurized baskets but the Big Bang beat the stock basket. Surprised but pleased. Wondering now about the Weber basket...but I'll wait. 85 bucks is steep for a 50 cent piece of stamped stainless steel!

Not magnetic, so magnetic dosing funnel is not secure. But deep enough for a real triple dose. Hole pattern and hole size works very well. I have three of these, and they are pretty consistent from one to the next.

We like this basket with a standard portafilter. Makes great espresso and Americano's in the Oracle.

I'm not sure if it was damaged in transit or while at the seller's warehouse, hopefully the scratches won't damage the gaskets on my brewer. Pulls good shots though, geeked with caffeine.

Not sure this basket is going to work out for me. It has straight sides, and no ridge which is great, but the holes seem too big and I’m not getting enough pressure while extracting. Flows through too readily for a weak and underextracted shot. I am still using my original filter basket with sloped sides and the ridge that makes it hard to pry out of the portafilter.
