I'll be honest, I purchased two of this because one version claim heavy duty the other did not when. I got the packages, I accidentally opened both and got the parts mixed up and I don't know which part I used but all of the parts seem like it would have fit my Eljer toilet so I will give this five stars for that reason.

There were no instructions. The key is to follow the right sequence. Put the rubber washer on the brass bolts install from inside the tank and then install the main seal and then use the steel washer and a nut to secure it to the tank. Then install the tank onto the toilet and use the rubber washer and the steel over it and secure with the nut from the bottom.

Having wing nuts instead of hex nuts for attaching tank to bowl made the installation simple.As someone else commented, don't use metal washers inside tank.

Same mistake as others put the rubber washers under tank and not seat. Can't compress the gasket enough. Did as stated review shows with pics show and it worked, used on a Lowes brand model 201A. Have to tighten good bit. Works great. No more tank wobble with the side feet underneath. Definitely worth it.

Old bolts were corroded and toilet had sprung a leak. Took some effort to find this direct replacement. There are many options out there. If you can do without the toilet for a day or two, dissaemble and see what the old parts look like.

Works great for the 2" Eljer toilet (mine was from about the year 2000) --IMPORTANT-->FOLLOW THE "use a different sequence" reviewer comments in how to assemble. Any competitor kit that does not have: 1 seal with "wings" for between the tank/bowl, 2 longer bolts, 4 metal washers, 4 rubber washers, 2 hex nuts, and 2 wingnuts will leave you stranded and unable to finish the job. Regarding longevity/corrosion-->I had to cut the heads off my tank to bowl bolts with a dremel--think about the quality of the hardware you want in there--get solid brass or stainless steel if you have harsh water or will be in the house a long time--most new hardware is junk metal compared to that of years ago. Time will tell how the hardware in this kit holds up. Put a new fluidmaster fill valve in while you are in there and you should be good for years. UPDATE: the provided metal washers submerged in the toilet tank are showing red rust spots after just 2 weeks--my recommendation: yes, buy this kit for the blue seal and rubber washers--but toss their metal hardware and buy quality stainless steel (or maybe solid brass if you can find it....) bolts, washers, hex nuts, and wingnuts.
