I really like this machine. With a little experimentation, I was able to find the right settings and beans to make a great latte and the occasional espresso. The ability to program it is a great. Now that I have my settings, I just touch the grind button to get the right amount of ground coffee, and then touch the double button to get the right amount of brewed coffee. The instructions are not real clear and you need to try and read between the lines a bit but that's my only complaint. It's easy to clean up when you're done.

I am having fun with this. I love being able to make my own espresso and not having to pay $7 for a cup of coffee! I really am happy with this espresso maker. The coffee wasn't coming out very well at first until I read the directions and figured out the right grind for the type of coffee that I was using. Make sure you read that. The only thing that I don't love is the frothier. It gets hot but is very loud and it doesn't get nice and foamy like it should. It does get hot after a bit but I prefer iced coffee most of the time anyway. Im going to buy a rubber attachment that you add on to the end and it helps make the milk frothy. I had one years ago and had the same issue with it. The rubber attachment worked great. I think that I found it at cash and carry years ago. Hopefully I can find another one.

Spent several days now after following all instructions and troubleshooting just to get 3 single espresso'. Double never worked, all water while brewing drains from inside the machine to the pan. Sending it back and requesting refund.

My Jura finally bit the dust after 7 years. I was hard-pressed to find a suitable expresso alternative that would provide both affordability and functionality. This machine hits it out of the ballpark. Quiet, easy-to-use and talk about the taste - it even rivals the Jura in my opinion. Time will tell about its durability but so far no problems after one month. There are several options to adjust the grind size and I couldn't be happier. And it looks great on the countertop. Just keep it clean and enjoy the brew!
