Every once in awhile touching a fish might not be in our favor. Either it being a big barbed catfish or a slimy goober.These tools are nice to have around to protect the hands. Also great to help unhook a fish.Notice the smaller version isn’t as loose as the bigger one. I am not sure how to adjust this and find them harder to use.Other than that, they function well.Since the size of the holders are bigger, they will not fit in a tackle box but more so a backpack.

Great idea to make handling some of these spikey and slimy fish a bit easier. I’ve been stabbed by a catfish barb before and don’t want to go through that again. These little grabbers are great for everyone involved. I don’t have to worry about getting poked and the fish will be back in the water faster once I get the hook out of their mouth. Win-win.I love that it comes with the two sizes for bigger or smaller fish. The two knocks I have is these don’t fold down well enough to fit in my tackle box and the plastic handles are a bit rough at the seems, but that can be fixed with a little sandpaper.
