You MUST follow the instructions to the letter. They are correct but could explain a little more. Fits together very nicely. Everything lines up as it should. My only negative is about the fit of the doors. They seem sturdy enough but have an alignment problem due to flex in the sides. It's a lot better with shelves still leaves to much flex due to side movement. Everything is very accurate and well made but the sides need more bracing at the door side. All it all it is a fine product!

We use our storage unit with this shelf on our patio for towels for our guests who want to swim. We actually have two of these!
