Outdoor Steel Storage Shed

Update: The seller reached out and provided a link for video instructions, that were way better than the included book. It explained the roof issue I had in much better detail. It was too late for me to correct, but it’s okay. The way I have it works and does not leak. Moved from 1 star to 4Very difficult to put up. Some instructions were understandable, but some weren’t clear on things. Some things didn’t stay flush, and I can’t explain why. The roof was the main thing that the instructions didn’t cover very well. Instructions show the screws going into the predrilled holes on top of the ribs. Then there are bigger holes above them. Luckily I had a box of roofing screws and just did it my way. The ridge cap is over 54”. How are you supposed to put the end caps on there if it’s hanging off by 6”? If you have construction skills you can make it work, if you do not then best of luck.

This 10x12 outdoor steel storage shed is our third outdoor steel storage shed so we got really experienced in assembling those by now. Two others we got last year were from very popular manufacturers like Arrow and Patiowell so we can do a direct comparison with competitors of this manufacturer. They all have the same quality assembly instructions and they maybe confusing if you are doing it for the first time, but when you do it the second time or even the third time all gets much less confusing and pretty straight forward. I would strongly suggest to have at least two people to do the assembly and if you can get more it would be even better otherwise you will have to think of some kind of structures to keep the panels standing up on one side while you are completing the other side. The metal is thin, but the competitors have just as thin metal panels. So this shed is not better or worse metal quality wise when we do a comparison to their competitors, but they definitely have 2 winning points that their competitors do not have. First of all, they have an option to have 2 windows on top of 4 vents that none of the other brands offer. Arrow, for example, for much higher price does not even have any vents. And second of all, they have much higher 72" walls vs 64" walls competitors have so even if you are 6 feet tall you can easily enter the building and walk comfortably without banging your head all the time you enter or bending down to prevent hitting your head. Also with such wall height you can fit full size tall shelving units inside which is not possible with shorter walls. Another nice bonus is that they include shed anchor kit that no other competitors do and not just flimsy ground stakes, but also corner brackets and bolts to anchor it into a concrete pad. Those things are actually very important that make this shed from MistMo brand way more user friendly and much better priced option overall. If they would make the screws longer and metal panels a little bit thicker they would be way above all competition. But I think even the way they are now because they are better priced and way more user friendly designed this shed wins overall and I will be recommending it over other brands.

I read negative and positive feedback. What I understood was that in order for the wholes to work out, which for the whole thing to work out, the floor must be real leveled. Everything worked perfect, I mean, perfect and the shed turned out to be very solid after it was all put together though the instructions were not necessary complete.I looked everywhere to find a shed that is tall enough so you can easily walk in and out without bending over. This shed was it. And on top of that, its a very decent looking shed. But make sure, your floor is perfect if you want it all to work out.Im very happy with my purchase.

(Husband speaking) Item is garbage, plain and simple. Instructions/diagrams are garbage and quite frankly mislabeled and looks like AI generated due to the printing of the instructions. Now why would a structure not be built from the base up? Not this one. Frame out the floor but only put partial walls (corners) up with no real bracing, then jump to the roof? This one has you bouncing all over the place. Packaging sucks. They want you to take EVERYTHING out (yes had some metal damage due to shipping and wasn’t home to mark damaged from Fed Ex, surprise surprise) and lay it out and have multiple people to help. Massive red flag as im a Union Roofer and see way better details than this on paper on any job. Item is on a 100% laser level base of pressure treated lumber and I've drilled at minimum 30 holes and that was just the base to get any kind of structure to work with. Hell.. some of the metal has protective plastic on it which is normal… but not all has it and the ones that do, it doesn't peel off because of how old it is. Trust me.. installed a ton of metal in my day and the only stuff that never peeled was over 6 months plus old. Don’t waste your money unless you got the time and the fridge full of alcohol. At the point where I’m just going to take this to the scrapyard and buy a local Amish structure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!
