Favorite brand. Our first one lasted 5 years!! Which is unheard of in my world. The kids would play with it all the time. We happily bought this one and it’s fast, easy to read, and the kids like the happy/sad face. Honestly only brand I’ll buy for thermometers.

This is the third generation of Kinsa thermometer our family has used. I have been very happy with the two oral thermometers we have used. Though I'm not completely pleased with this QuickScan thermometer.First and foremost, I'm not always sure the temperature is accurate. When I first used it, my son very clearly had a temperature yet the QuickScan indicated it was not very high. I tried using the oral thermometer and there was a discrepancy between the two devices. I contacted Kinsa directly and by the time I got the courtesy of a response, my son was well. Moreover, the customer service left a bit to be desired.I have used it on a few occasions since and have double checked nearly every time. The temperatures are generally the same.Accuracy aside, one thing I dislike about the QuickScan is the weight - or lack there of. It is extraordinarily light. Light enough that it feels cheap. Also, both of our Kinsa oral thermometers have come with a storage case. The first had a plastic box, the second had a little zip storage bag. This one has nothing. It just rolls arounds in the drawer where we keep our first aid supplies. When I have gotten out bandaids, I've gently touched the button and it has turned on. In future variations, I would suggest Kinsa have a storage solution or at least a snap on plastic that covers the button. For the positive, Kinsa's app is great. It can store temperatures for more than one family member. It inquires about other symptoms to give advice as to whether to monitor at home or contact a doctor. This information can be easily shared with others if needed. The home display also provides statistics local COVID and flu in your area.My husband had originally wanted to get a Withings thermometer. Not only is it more expensive it does not have an app that compares to the Kinsa product line.If tracking temperatures and symptoms during bouts of illness in your household is important to you, I would highly recommend the Kinsa thermometer line.

So easy to use! The app is amazing and will ask questions and tell you info if your child is sick! I love that i can assign temps so if my husband or i get sick we can get info for ourselves as well. Amazing product!

I can’t add pictures for some reason. The thermometer is amazing!! It’s super easy & quick to set up & sync to your phone, it also sync with my Apple Watch. It lets you add as many people as you would like, I was able to add myself & 4 family members. It shows you what illnesses are in your area & high of a risk it is (none, moderate, critical etc) I played around with it & put in false symptoms and it gave me a reading and informed me to call my doctor and get checked because symptoms resembled Strept throat. It gave me home remedies, I am able to keep track of medications taken and times, it lets you set alerts for when to take medications. It also adjusts to age. It’s awesome.

Sorry...I love the Kinsa app and the in-mouth one works great. This contact-less one doesn't work. I bought one and returned it because beyond turning on it never read temps. Had it replaced and the second one also doesn't read temps. Turns on but doesn't do anything beyond that. Super disappointing. This is way too expensive to not work. Definitely cannot recommend and I'm outside my return window so no money back.

This thermometer is easy to use, uses AAA batteries instead of coin cell (and comes with a set in the box), and the app saving a timeline of temperatures is awesome! Being able to track symptoms, meds, and temps all in one place makes us easy when you're sick and the prompts and followups are genuinely helpful. But if you don't like the app, it works great on its own as well and is simple to use

We have the thermometer that goes under the tongue for our eldest and needed one for our 3 month old. This is perfect for her and it’s easy to use. I love that I have to different profiles in the app for both kids.
