I have a terrier that can get into skunk trouble occasionally and I swear by this shampoo. If you have a dog you should have this on hand for emergency use.

It didn't work as well as the homemade wash. I used a whole bottle between two dogs and still ended up having to use something else as the smell was strong after use.

Read the reviews and bought about 6 months ago just in case we ever needed it. Sadly that time came, and thankfully the dog didn’t get a full hit by the skunk….. got him in the tub in a matter of minutes and had him soaped up …. 3-4 full lathers and washes and I can still smell skunk! I can’t imagine if this is what he smellsLike after using it. I let it sit so that it couldActivate …. No luck- still have skunk! Not sure what the answer is but sadly it certainly wasn’t this.

Unfortunately we have become connoisseurs of skunk spray remedies. But fortunately, I can say that this product is the best I’ve found! And thank goodness, because last night Joey had another encounter with our skunk neighbor 🦨 😷 We threw him in the tub and I scrubbed him head to toe with special attention to his face. I’m grateful to say that today, there is no skunk smell at all! I recommend with a 10/10!

My dog got skunked, I did the home remedies route, got the main stink off but there was that lingering smell for days still.I ordered this shampoo and I could smell the difference almost immediately! It still took a couple washes to get it all out but that'd skunk for you.Note: even if your using this multiple times, apply it on dry dog, massage it in, then rinse and repeat if desired. The water would otherwise strengthen the oils of the skunk spray before you get a chance to wash it out with the shampoo.

I have a cat that has decided to be friends with our resident skunk family. Needless to say I have searched for a product that can eliminate that awful smell.After three consecutive washes I found this to get rid of most of the smell. Worth the money and would buy again.

This absolutely did not work I’m so disappointed! My dog got sprayed last Friday we gave her a bath in dawn dish dish soap tea tree shampoo for dogs and it worked better than this. As soon as I got it I washed my dog. The smell was already starting to go away on her it has been 6 days but there was still a little smell to her so o thought I will try this shampoo. It actually made it worse the smell came right back and my whole house to stink along with her. Don’t waste your money!

My dog is allergic to an ingredient and broke out in hives on her face from it. Still smelled like skunk afterwards too
