Great ladder for stability and safety. Bought for a senior that still insists on climbing step stools. Wide foot base allows for easier standing.

The ladders are light in weight and fold up so slim with wide foot plates which are the three things I most needed. They will be used to reach high shelves in cupboards as and when needed. I would say that they are not probably suited for everyday use in the workplace for example by a painter and decorator.

I am 5'2". I have a hard time reaching things. I had a 3-step ladder, but as I became older, I didn't have the balance to stand on the top step. So, I was using only 2 steps. This 4-step ladder is sturdy, safe, and easy to climb on. The step rungs are wide and have a non-slip surface. I can climb up 3 steps and even have a 4th step to place items on. And the top hand rail is tall enough to get a good grip on. My husband has no trouble standing on the top (4th) step.The only draw back I see is it is a bit heavy. I can manage it, but it weighs a bit. I guess that's what makes it so sturdy.
