WHATA DEAL! EASILY $100 LESS THAN A BOSCH WITH TOOL BAG AND ATTACHMENTS. VERY STURDY AND POWERFUL. HOMEOWNERS DREAM FOR UNDER $70. GOOD ARRAY OF BLADES AND A GREAT ASST OF SANDING PADS. THE 20V LITHIUM BATTERIES ARE THE SAME WE USE IN OUR TREE SAWS. STRONG ENOUGH TO GET JOBS DONE AND THEY CHARGE FAST AND HOLD THEIR CHARGE. OUR NEXT JOB WILL BE TO CUT OFF SEVEN 10P NAILS STICKING THROUGH A PLYWOOD ATTIC SO WE CAN INSTALL A SOLAR FAN MOUNTED TO A 2X4 GRID. NO DOUBT IT WILL CUT THROUGH THE NAILS LIKE BUTTER AND BE MUCH LESS OF A CHORE SINCE ITS CORDLESS. TILE GUYS SHOULD LOVE IT!

I bought this tool in Oct. of last year and at first was impressed by the seemingly solid construction. I did not have an immediate use for the tool more of an impulse buy. When I did need it I discovered while under load the tool would shut down after 10 seconds sometimes less. After 30 seconds the tool would start again but failed to run more that 5 or 6 seconds. The battery was fully charged directly from the charger yet the best I could get from it was 10 seconds of use. There is no warranty info on their site and I have no idea if it is a battery issue or the tool. Clearly I do not want to buy another battery and then discover the tool is defective. My opinion avoid this tool and manufacturer spend a few extra dollars and buy from a well known brand.I have been contacted by customer service for Kimo and they were very apologic for the issues I had and shipped me a brand new tool within days of learning about the malfunction. It appears the battery has been changed and I am happy to say the tool runs perfectly. The tool presents an extremely solid build, nicely finished and from my current tests very powerful. Without question Kimo customer service stood behind their product and provided superior customer service. Consequently I rate the tool and company 5 stars and in particular my thanks to Eloise for her assistance.

Hadn't bought or used a multitool before but I liked the idea of them. Didn't want to pay a premium cost so picked the KIMO which seemed a reasonable product at a very good price. So the KIMO 20V cordless multitool arrived with battery, charger, a good range of accessories and a carry bag. I've now done a few small repair jobs around the house using the tool - scraped back, patched and repainted some interior wall patches, did a couple of sanding and resealing jobs on some old furniture and have practiced cutting wood and PVC. So now I reckon I'm fairly familiar with the tool s - and in my opinion:Would I buy a multitool again? Absolutely, it is really convenient and fast and surprising easy to use.Is the KIMO 20V cordless multitool worth buying? Its solid in the hand which makes it comfortable to use. Noise and vibration weren't a problem and it worked great for me. So Yes I think it was a good buy and recommend it for the home handyman like me.How about the battery? I haven't had it run down while using it yet so battery life seems fine for me. I must say it recharges quite quickly - less than an hour. I guess it would be nice to have a spare battery though. How does it operate? It took me a little while to stop forcing the cutting and scraping and just relax the pressure and let the tool go at its own pace - then it really operated well. I also find it convenient that I can set the angle of the various blades to make it more comfortable to operate.I really like this product and am now looking for more to do with it.

I'm no beginner to oscillating/multi purpose tools. I have owned a very old corded heavy one that has served me well for years. Then I found myself using a friends "cordless" unit for a short time. I didn't even know they made cordless ones. I loved the fact that it was cordless as you can easily take it anywhere and not be tied up by a cord! So I did my research and found this unit. I can't say enough about this tool. It's WAY better than my friends unit. This one has a nice bright LED that stays on a few seconds after you turn off the unit for safety. You can easily see the area you are working on and be able to place the unit right on target. You can change all the blades with a simple pull. No special tools required, no Allen wrenches needed. That's a huge plus! It has a handle that you can use on both sides of the tool. The unit comes with a slew of multi blades and sand discs for any project. I've been using it since I received it for several hours and it still keeps ticking. This tool is VERY LIGHTWEIGHT compared to the competition AND IT IS VERY WELL BALANCED! It feels and works with plenty of power! You can easily adjust the power for your needs. The battery charges quickly, snaps on tight and lasts for a long time. The battery is out of the way and helps to balance the unit even more. This is perfect when you need to do a few quick hits on a project and not have to worry about plugging into anything, especially great for outside where AC is not available. I love the balance on this tool and it really cuts into wood, pipe, sheet rock like butter. The best part is that the battery is also compatible and interchanges with the many other cordless tools this company makes. It also comes with a nifty bag with inner sleeves for your batteries or blades. 2.5 Year warranty and a decent large easy to read manual well written in English with plenty of pictures to guide you. I love the multicolored LED easy to see battery indicator that with one quick glance, you know the battery status. The only downside???? I can't give it more than 5 stars here on Amazon. You will not regret owning this tool!!! I'm NOT getting paid to make this review. Makes an excellent gift for birthdaysChristmas for men and woman alike whether they are carpenters or not. You WILL find a use for this tool in any household or shop. Njoy!!! CB 11-01-2020
