Works great. I’m a fan of the quality of the Skill cordless tools and their price point. My only gripe is the blade change process and screw. Needing a hex key to change the blade is very inconvenient. All the competitors have a tool-free quick change system. The bolt loosens up after a time, so trimming out doors and windows can be an issue if your blade keeps slipping out.

I liked that it dis not need to be p[lugged in, which would constrain where and how it is used. I liked the selection of blades and how they are locked in. I am a novice at using such a tool and found it was effective for making "adjustments" or solving some problems.

You can remove grout with a manual grout saw, if you want to feel like you're digging your way out of prison with a sharpened spoon. OR you can get use an oscillating multi-tool with a grout blade, and get the job done without it feeling like a life sentence.The Skil multitool was great for removing the old grout from my shower! The slim design made it easy to work with in the tight space. The multitool saved me so much physical labor and time. I had to resort to the manual grout saw only where the tiles came together at right angles.I have Skil PWRCORE20 batteries in 5Ah, 4Ah, and 2Ah sizes. The 2Ah batteries were perfect for this job. The smaller size and lighter weight of the 2Ah batteries kept my arms from getting tired.CORDLESS is the only way I want to use a multitool. Not having to fight with a power cord makes a huge difference in how easy it is to use the tool.The Skil multitool doesn't transfer as much vibration to my hands as the other oscillating tool I own. To be fair, my other oscillating multitool is Harbor Freight's cheapest model.I recommend using hearing protection while using the multitool. I was able to comfortably use the multitool for long periods of time, while wearing hearing protectors. Using the tool for even short periods of time without hearing protection was very uncomfortable.

No dewalt but for the price can’t beat this multi tool! Only thing I don’t like personally is how the battery mounts makes the tool feel unbalanced but on the brushless version it’s mounted differently closer to dewalt and makes the tool feel balanced and more comfortable to use but over all I still give a 5 star as it doesn’t effect the use of the tool at all

Awesome multi tool use it quite often at work and does the job no problem. May be a little slower than top brands but works just fine for me! Would be perfect for diy/homeowner projects, I use it remodeling for a living and it is just fine even using daily

opened the box and noticed the battery was covered in liquid. researching the internet says liquid leaking from lithium ion batteries is dangerous so i did not try to charge or use it. i returned kit to whole foods and got refund. ordered another with next day prime delivery and its battery also was leaking so returned it too. ordered two more next time since i thought what is odds 4 of these things will be defective. when received next two, wow, both batteries were also leaking! will return these too. how did skil manage to get a whole shipment of damaged product to amazon. called skil customer support for first one last fri and waiting to hear back as of sun morn (8/20/23). Update on 8/24/23, just to close the loop, i never heard back from skil cust support after leaving name and number and msg even tho their message said they would call back in 24 business hours. Also bought this same kit for same price from walmart to see it there would be any difference. Got it today, opened the box and there was no difference, the battery in the box was also leaking. I actually read their battery owners manual this time and nowhere in it does it say the battery is defective even if its leaking! Their words are "Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water....Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns...." So I guess skil's packaging or distribution process was under abusive conditions since the product was new and unopened when received. And obviously if you try to take the battery out of the bag you will get the liquid on your hands if not wearing gloves, which i did because i wasn't. anyway, this last battery had the least liquid on it, so i wiped the liquid off as best i could with paper towels and it seemed to charge ok, the fuel led worked and it powered the tool ok under load. so i'm changing my rating to 3 because altho the tool seems to work fine, i'm sure skil knows they are shipping leaking batteries with these kits. the compact saw i ordered at the same time as my first amazon multitool order came with what looked like a newer battery that was perfectly dry. i'm curious to find out how long this liquid covered battery will last.

IMO skip has some of the best home use tool lines out there they are affordable and reliable the multi tool is no exception to their 20v line of tools amazing product hasn’t failed me yet

L'outil est efficace, les lames fournies aussi, mais la batterie ne tient pas longtemps.A réserver aux tâches courtes et occasionnelles; sinon une batterie de plus grande capacité sera nécessaire.

Me fascina la versatilidad, fácil manejo y el sistema de garantía de Skil. Es una de las herramientas favoritas en mi taller.Lo único que me hubiera gustado es que tuviera el sistema rápido para cambiar los aditamentos. Pero sigue siendo una muy buena opción.
