My wife and I purchased two of these one for our niece and the other for our nephew. I don’t know which one like their gift more. They immediately suited up and went into battle for hours.. The pink one came with a dart gun and the blue one didn’t.

This is very cute, but I was carefully putting bullets in the lower right front webbed pocket and about an inch of the pocket pulled out from the side seam. No telling what my 5 year old nephew can do to the vest by accident too.I also noticed that the bullets looked smaller than the bullets for the Dino-Nerf gun I’d gotten him. I’m hoping that the vest’s bullets will work in his new Nerf gun. So buyers need to be aware of the difference in bullet size. I’m not sure if all of the nerf bullets are interchangeable or not.The orange bullet holder that comes with the vest is plastic and if not put safely in the vest pocket ( or somewhere else safe), could easily be dropped and broken. Some directions would be nice. As an adult, not up on “nerf” items/world, it was hard to figure out what was what and where it went, etc. I pulled up an on-line picture to help put the vest together before wrapping. (I noticed that the on-line picture has more items than actually come with the vest—it’s a little deceptive of the seller.)I loved the wrist band bullet holder, but hope my nephew and his mom can figure out “ what on earth” it is—took me a bit.

Kids Vest Kit for Nerf Series with Refill Darts, Dart Pouch, Reload Clips, Tactical Mask,Wrist Band and Protective Glasses for Boys. by kkones.Pros: Holds a lot of foam darts, Very adjustable for kids or adults, sturdy, easy to clean, eye protection, looks awesome when worn, Shipping is quick only four days.Cons: Foam darts split easily, Velcro picks up dirt easy and eventually wears out. Clip is technically a six foam dart cartridge not the eight advertised. This is the first vest set we have owned. The front side of the vest has a plastic backing inside & a plastic canvas feel to the outside. The back of the vest is open mesh. It is light weight & comfortable to wear. The camouflage digital print on the outside looks really neat. It is an impressively versatile vest. Some things to note......Cartridge: Advertised to hold eight foam darts. You can pack eight in. The clip has six imprinted on the cartridge. Six is the manufacture recommended number to prevent problems like jamming.Foam Darts: We received 30 darts as advertised. The first day my son played with them 4 darts split on the side & would no longer work. See my attached pictures. My son is having a great deal of fun playing with them while they last though.Pouch: Advertised to hold 20 foam darts but easily holds at least 60. My son used this pouch to hold his goggles & head wrap. We attached it to the vest using one of the side velcro pieces.Wrist dart holder: Holds eight foam darts as advertised.Head Wrap: Awesome. Slightly big for my child though. It keeps wanting to fall down but he loves it. You may want to surge the unfinished edges to avoid runs in the material.Goggles: Seem to hold up well & they fit a child well. An adult may want to purchase a separate bigger pair. That being said this is sold as a kids set.Vest: Holds a lot of extra stuff. Two six dart cartridges easily fit in the mesh pocket on the right side of the vest. Six elastic foam dart spots exist on both sides of the vest shoulders. The left side of the vest also has three elastic strips to attach things to whether that be dart clips, extra nerf guns, or other misc stuff. The right side has two elastic strips and a mesh pocket.Summary: I definitely recommend this vest set for giving the kids hours of fun. The versatility of this vest allows them to customize their gear placement which my child also loved doing. I would plan on buying extra darts though.
