I ordered this vest as a birthday gift for my Nerf-obsessed 10YO. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the material: it's a stiff, scratchy sort of material (not soft at all) and seems kind of cheaply made. Also, the vest runs pretty small. After less than a year, my son has already passed it down to a younger sibling because it's too small for him. (He wears a 10/12, if that helps anyone visualize the size of the vest better.) That said, he was quite thrilled to get it and did think it was really cool, for the short time he was able to wear it.

This is a fun gift for a Nerf gun lover. My boys love their nerf guns, and they loved having a vest to wear...once. What kid takes the time to stop and re-load his tactical vest mid-play? You either stop and reload your actual weapon, or you scoop up all the darts and stuff them in your pockets ready to load the gun - NOT the in between step of loading the vest in preparation of loading the gun. Its cool, but not necessary.

No where did I see that it was JUST the vest for $19.99, it looked like it came with the darts and the other things on the vest. I was very disappointed as it was for a birthday party and I don't have time to return it for a refund. Looks like other sellers have the vest along with the darts inlcuded.

I thought I ordered the ful set with sponge bullets and some other pieces of equipment. All I got was the vest. Very disappointed.

This is a fun vest! The only drawback I found was that the elastic bullet holder is tight and it’s difficult to get the bullets in and out. I’m sure the elastic will loosen over time and that won’t be a problem. Other than that, we had no issues with this vest. My grandson received it for his 9th birthday and it was a hit at the party. He shared and all the kids took turns wearing it during play. This is a quality vest that should last years.
