The watch face is great, my 6yo figured out how to read the time accurately after a day. The quality of the glass is terrible as it cracked after 2 days. It started with small cracks then chipping off around the edges and after a week it looks like it's been hit with a hammer. I wish the glass held up better or even used a high quality plastic instead because the watch face is great. Also we got the silicone band and it's slightly too big for my 6yo's wrist, just in case you are wondering about fit.

My 5 yr old high functioning autistic son is obsessed with anything numbers rn. Asks about 37x/day what time it is. How many minutes until...? What percentage do you have on your phone? Counts by 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s,16s, 17s, 18s, 19s up into the thousands. Adds & subtracts. Knows prime numbers. Fractions.Ok let me stop beaming as a proud father and get back to this A-1 watch...Super easy to tell the time thanks to the minute ticks being labeled in individual colorful squares from 1-60. Hour and minute hands are also labeled and colorful. A ticking second hand shows kids how long a second is and how long it takes for a minute to pass. Helps kids understand TO/PAST & military time. Bought this for our son who’s learning to tell time. It came packaged well and looks like it’s well made. Our son loves it and is so proud to be wearing a watch. The color coding is huge for helping him to tell time. The only thing I would maybe change would be to remove the numbers for seconds, it makes the face a little busy and I think it’s a detail that little kids won’t pick up on until later but that’s just my preference. Otherwise it’s great and we’re glad we went with this one.

Intent for purchase: This was a gift for my 4th grade daughter who wanted a watch for xmas. I was not about to give her a digital watch when I knew this was my chance to reinforce telling time on an analog clock! She learned to tell time in 3rd grade and forgot since it hasn't been reviewed.Style and Function: This had rubberized banding (okay to wipe down dirt, won't wear out easy from kid use and roughness). Cute strap design, hearts graffiti style.But the WINNING Point- indicates Hour on short hand, Minute on long hand AND tells the minutes after the face numbers (ex 1. 5, 2. 10, 3. 15, 4. 20 etc). She is loving that she can tell us the time (which we keep randomly asking her, to ensure she practices it)!Are these teachable moments? Telling time is essential on an analog clock, most places of business DO NOT have digital clocks mounted. This is a life skill.Extra Credit: it came in a clear case with cute inspiration stickers for storing the watch.HIGHLY RECOMMEND for children/teens needing reinforcement of telling time on analog clock. Happy parent with purchase right here!
