I recently purchased this 67mm Black Diffusion Mist 1/8 & Variable ND2-32 in-1 Filter and I must say I am highly impressed. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy construction that feels like it can withstand regular use. The filter provides a beautiful cinematic effect, adding a soft diffusion to my photos while also allowing me to control the amount of light entering the lens with the variable ND feature. I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall quality of my images since using this filter. The 18 layers of coating ensure that there is minimal glare and ghosting, resulting in clear and sharp images. Overall, I highly recommend this filter to any photographer looking to add a creative touch to their work.

this filter is perfect for softening an image and giving it more character. I like a nice sharp, clinical lens but there are those times that i want a dreamy look straight out of camera. At 1/8 the effect is not heavy but is noticeable. It is also great for video work to soften and balance skin textures and tones. The filter is crafted well and is easy to use and maintain.

This filter is a combination black diffusion and variable ND filter (ND2-32). The black diffusion element of the filter creates a dreamy effect. The variable ND reduces incoming light over the range of 1 to 5 stops. Product description states that the design of the variable ND eliminates the dreaded "X" effect. I have not shot using this filter in a situation in which that "X" effect might occur, but if they have been able to eliminate that, then they have done a great job in design. For anyone who has experienced the "X" effect, it is a nasty effect caused by the two-polarizer design of many variable ND filters, so not having that is terrific. The filters fits perfectly on my 82mm lenses. This can also be used with step-down rings for lenses having smaller filter threads.

This camera filter is filled with some pretty neat technology. It acts almost like an f-stop in that you can dial it to allow more or less light through it. It gives you photos a cool effect and is pretty impressive. It takes a bit to learn how to use it but it really gives a new dimension to photography. It screws right into the lens filter screw on your canon lens and is really easy to install. You can then put your lens cap on the end of the filter and it still is protected. The kit comes with lens wipes and all you need to get the filter installed. This is a pretty impressive product and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new with their photography and branch out with some new filters.

K&F simply makes some of the best value filters for photography and videography. There are multiple reviews on the internet comparing their filters to much more expensive counterparts and K&F always seems to hold well against these "better" name brands is not exceeding their performance. I have several different ND, UV, CPL type filters from them and this 1/8 Black Diffusion filter, VND Filter combo works well. Ideal for outdoor portraits where you are looking to soften the look a bit or even for shooting product images/videos.

This filter has an 82mm thread. I have just reviewed the K&F 72mm version—it is excellent. I have also reviewed an other K&F filter with a different specification. When these filter became available for review, I jumped at the chance. Previously, I have purchased a number of K&F lenses, and I have never been disappointed.I have three lenses with 82mm thread—FE135mm GM; FE50mm 1.2 GM & FE 24-70ii GM. I will have no compunction about using a K&F filter with these high-end lenses.I have purchased a number of K&F filters previously, and other K&F products. I have found that its products are of excellent value and quality. I sometimes wonder whether the purported quality of higher priced filters is marketing-driven; whether it’s more about reinforcing our perceptions about the relationship between price and quality, rather than real-world performance improvements. There are superior filters - filters with glass reclaimed from ancient Greek vases. However, this combination filter will serve me swimmingly. I mightn’t even be able to tell the difference. You’re getting a lot of performance from this filter at a very reasonable price. It’s a precision-built filter with flawless engineering. All K&F filters come with a sturdy, light case, and three cleaning clothes.

A quality filter from K&F, works great and my only complaint is I should have purchased it for my 77mm instead of my 58mm filters. I will get a lot of use from this black diffusion mist filter for that cinematic look.

Didn’t know what to expect, but this filter does what it’s supposed to. The build feels decent, threading is smooth, and so far, no weird tints or major issues. It’s not magic, though—just a solid piece of glass that works if you use it right. There’s a more expensive version, and yeah, maybe under the right conditions you’d notice a difference, but for most situations, this one holds up fine. Like any filter, if things go sideways, it’s usually down to user error or lighting rather than the glass itself. That said, I’ve had bad filters before, and this doesn’t seem to have any of the usual problems. No real complaints. For the price, it does the job, and I haven’t found a reason to switch brands yet. If you need a haze filter and don’t want to overthink it, this is a safe bet.

I'm guessing by the 5 star rating, you can tell where the Headline is going to end up... so I'll keep it short.I have been very happy with ALL my K&F Concept products so far, and this filter is NO EXCEPTION!The build quality is on par with the best I've ever paid (too much) for... no names mentioned, and it functions exactly like you would expect a piece of Japanese Glass would work... that being said... this is their entry level offering, and they do offer a PRO version (amongst others) that when 'pixel peeping' you MAY notice a difference between... however I have found the most times it's user error or hardware malfunction where most filters fail their photographers. If the environment is conducive to the lens without a filter... I will Always shoot that way, however WHEN a filter is recommended/required ... for my usage K&F Concepts beats many many others Hands Down No Questions FULL STOP.I find the operation to be extremely easy and the ND End Stops make it Impossible (in my usage) to manifest the dreaded "X" . I have yet to find a reason to buy another brand of filter since finding K&F years ago, their quality, along with 'reasonable' price points, make them (for the foreseeable future) my Go To solution. There is 1 thing I'm a bit perplexed about with this specific filter... it DOES in deed fit an 82mm lens mount... HOWEVER once installed, you are unable to use the 82mm lens cap you had on your lens, as the filter goes up in size from the mount to the front of the filter... and the cap is now too small. So you'll either 1) have to buy an additional cap if you intend to leave this on camera, or 2) Remove/Install it every time you reach for that 24-70mm (for example). If My Humble Opinion matters... K&F Concepts has my full support!!I hope this helps.
