Lasts about a year before blutetooh connection issues become the daily practice. Eventually it only works when plugged in. After a year or two of that, it starts to fail in creative ways. Customer support is unsupportive.I enjoyed the mechanical feel for about a month but it grew old quickly. The clacking of the keys is very 1980s, but the experience feels cheap, plastic, and unsophisticated. I have to stop using it at night or my kid cannot sleep in the room next door. After two years of struggling to make it function, I cannot wait to never see it again. Any keyboard from any other brand is a better option. If you don't have any real work to do, this might be a fun gimmick. If you actually have to achieve any work, this garbage product will hinder you until replaced.

Kick a$$ keyboard. Only problem is it arrived defective / unable to map “function” and “multimedia” keys for Windows and Linux machines… Consequently, it’s useless for me.Also, it has a disappointing aluminum “frame”… ABS bottom-plate w/ 4 aluminum sidewall-panels. Go big or go home; don’t half-a$$ the job. Lots of potential coupled with equal amounts of disappointment w.r.t. corner-cutting design & manufacturing.==> DO BETTER!

I love this keyboard, and use it all the time, but would not buy another. The problem is that the hole in the case where a USB-C cable plugs in is unusually small. The cable that comes with it fits, of course, but of the dozens of other cables I have, no-names as well as e.g. Cable Matters and Anker and Amazon Basics, only the Amazon Basics fit. The rest are too large and can't be used. So KeyChron might as well have used a proprietary cable: you can't buy or borrow a cable in a pinch and be confident it will work.I'm inspired to write this because I'm trying to connect the keyboard to a Raspberry Pi, which has only USB-A ports. None of my many A-to-C cables and adapters fits the keyboard's port. So I'd have to buy a new cable, but worse, probably have to buy a bunch to find one that fits.My other (wired-only, and with an aluminum case) KeyChron does not have this problem, BTW, so it's apparently a model- or material-specific issue.

Coming from a K2 I've always been reasonable happy with, the keycaps feel like a considerable improvement in both aesthetics and feel, I like the heft and feel of the aluminium cladding, hotswappable and qmk support is great to see. A great feeling mechanical keyboard for somebody who just wants something nicer to use directly out of the box with the option for an upgrade path later.Slight bluetooth lag(tested with rhythm games) but for general computing use it's impossible to notice, and RGB LED's don't look great imo, I'm happy the caps aren't shine through this time.
