Wow awesome buy. New from Ford dealer would have costed me $800 for 2 keyfobs. Where these are only $50 ea. And of course if u only have one keyfob. And u lose it. U gotta buy 2 to reprogram a keyfob. You can't do just one. So Thank you Amazon for having a keyfob for a 2014 at an amazing price. Which saved me basically $800. Costed me $113 instead of $904. Again Thanku Amazon so much for being there. When times are rough. 100☆

It works! I only had one factory intelligent remote when I bought my used 2013 Lincoln mkx. One of the buttons on that remote broke so I needed to replace it. I researched several options and chose this one based on reviews. I didn’t want to pay the exorbitant cost of getting the remote and programming by the dealership. There were a few comments on not being able to program the remote by the users, but that’s a misunderstanding of the process. Per Ford, the end user must have 2ea programmed remotes functioning before the user can self-program a3rd remote. I thought the description from the seller clearly explained that, and stated one might need to have an auto locksmith or the dealer do the programming. With only one partially working factory remote I knew I had to have it professionally done. I called a local locksmith and had 2ea remotes programmed and the emergency keys ib each remote cut all for less than one remote from the dealership. The comments also stated that sone took their remotes to locksmith’s but were told they couldn’t be programmed. They would have to take them to the dealership, or magically purchase a Ford remote from the locksmith and oay way too much.I had no issue having these remotes programmed by a reputable locksmith that wasn’t trying to upsell me. Both remotes were programmed and keys cut in about 30 minutes. All functions of my highly featured car eork flawlessly. A great buy that saved me a ton if money.

Very easy to program to your car when you already have two keys. Seems to be pretty good quality.

Do NOT buy this product !!!In my opinion this company is using deceptive advertising, and after communicating with them I get the feeling that this includes deliberate fraud.Note that their advertising says:“Self-programming requires you to have at least one working smart key. Please send your ORDER ID and we will give you a programming video. If you don't have another working key, or you can't program it successfully yourself. You need to find a qualified locksmith or dealer to help you to programme it.”Plus, they say:“If you have any questions such as missing parts, received damaged, wrong item, won't install, etc. We will provide you a solution within 24 hours.”So they say that only one existing key is needed to use their product, but they will not provide programming instructions until AFTER you have purchased their product. I made that purchase and then had to e-mail them TWICE to get a response. When they finally responded, their reply sent me a URL to a YouTube video that requires the use of specialized electronic equipment which costs in excess of $2500.I wrote to the company a third time, pointing out that following their procedure would cost over 12 times as much as buying a pre-programmed key from a dealer, and no rational person would do that. Their response was:“We have found the programming video corresponding to your car model, this is a common programming video,I have confirmed to other customers that this video can be programmed according to the prompts. If it still doesn't match,Please tell us the model and year of your car,The other way is,When the product can not be successfully programmed, you can solve the problem through the following methods, which is relatively low cost.1. You can take it to a key shop where you can program.2. Call a locksmith and With one working fob they can program the new one.”The bottom line here is that self-programming their product if you have only one functional existing key requires you to spend several thousand dollars, and their “solution” to this is to take their product to a locksmith and pay for it to be programmed. This is exactly what other companies are honest enough to say in their advertising.I plan to return this purchase to Amazon, and suggest that you avoid dealing with this company, as I find their honesty questionable.

One of the buttons got stuck and ultimately failed on the fob of my 2017 Ford Flex. I called the dealership and they wanted $200 to replace the fob. Instead, I ordered this one, put the PCB and battery from my old one into this one, and sealed it back up. Works great, and saved $185. Found lots of tutorial "how-to" videos online to do the swap, but it was super easy. Now all my buttons work again.Update: The battery on my fob just died (I should have replaced it when I swapped the guts of my original one into this one) so I had to reopen the new fob and replace the battery. My goodness, what a battle! The fob's rear cover came off in two pieces (instead of one) and the sliding button that releases the key went flying. Getting the second half of the cover unsnapped was quite the fight. I was finally able to remove it and replace the battery, but the sliding switch didn't go back in correctly and I suspect the next time I have to swap the battery I'll have to destroy the fob to open it. That being said, if I have to buy a new one at $10 every couple of years that's still better than giving $200 to Ford for an OEM replacement.
