The dealer wanted almost $500 for 1 new FOB.These 2 FOBs and a local hardware store was under $45 .The plastic in these are cheaper feeling than the original one.Overall I'm very happy. I have a working FOB and a backup and saved lots of money.Update. I tested one of the new keys and it did start my truck. Few days later it no longer starts my truck. The FOB buttons work fine. The keys do not have the "SA" stamped on it that my original key has.No transponder chip in it.

Once cut and programmed these work great. This one drawback… the panic button is HYPER sensitive. If it is in your pants pocket you can set it off just by sitting down.

Worked great - program easy and cut nice. Snug fit. Good luck finding a locksmith to cut only and not sellYou their keys.

Bought a 2004 F150 that only came with the two part key, one part very well worn door and ignition, other part wireless remote locks. First attempt at getting a second key was paying the big bucks for a "simple key" that included a programmer and an uncut key. Had BatteryPlus cut the key and it worked roughly, and but did not unlock tailgate. Programmer worked fine, and end result was a single key to do everything, except tailgate.Having only one well worn original factory key combo as a backup, planned on adding another spare. The pair of keys purchased here did the job. Battery Plus cut both keys and cleaned up the first key they cut, so all three one piece keys worked, plus original. My programmer quickly programmed this pair of keys as well as all prior keys again, so all match and any old OEM keys in circulation would no longer work. As long as you have them properly programmed and cut, these keys are better than OEM.

I was able to get the key cut and it does crank my car, but it will not unlock my car. I have followed all instructions. My door cycle through properly, but once I hit the buttons, they don’t work. all they will do is crank my car they will not unlock it or lock it.

So, it’s a great, convenient, and economical option for extra/replacement keys….BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE TWO FULLY FUNCTIONAL KEYS ALREADY.My original two keys for my 2011 f150 are working, but not well. Changed batteries, but they still only work some of the time to un/lock the doors. I guess age and use is catching up to them. I bought these two to become primary use keys. The FOB was easy to program, online instructions, open drivers door, hit unlock, use original key to turn ignition on and off 8 times, put in new key, on then off, and hit any button, and the FOB was programmed, but it wouldn’t start the truck. So, I asked the google machine, and I was led to further instructions that needed two working keys, so put working key 1 into ignition, turn on then off, switch to working key 2, on and off, then new key, on and off and It worked. I repeated that process a second time, and my last key was programmed. If you just want an economic way to have extra keys, these seem to be a great option. I was able to have the keys cut at a local Batteries Plus for about 20 bucks, so I have about 46? 47? Dollars total into two working keys.If you have to have your vehicle factory logo, well, you are going to have to spend a lot more.I also bought two keys for my daughters 16 Cruze, save a load of money that way. Super pleased. The keys aren’t exact matches to factory, but are darn close, they fit properly, the remote functions as expected, only question is, how long will they last? So durability is TBD.

Paid a locksmith $50 total to cut both keys and then programmed them myself in my 2007 F150 Lariat in about 5 minutes. I used ChatGPT to give me the programming process and it worked perfect. I will outline it here for other F150's users. You have to program each key to start the ignition, then do a separate process to program all remote clickers to work. You have to have all the clickers you own present (4 max) at the time you program the remotes as it otherwise deactivates any that are not present. You MUST have two prior working keys to program a new key, if you only have one you have to go to a locksmith/dealer to programming using their special computer. My locksmith charges $80 for cut & programming per key).Ignition programming1) Put existing key #1 in ignition and turn it to on for 3-5 seconds and then remove.2) Put existing key #2 in ignition and turn it to on for 3-5 seconds and then remove.3) Put newly cut Amazon key in ignition and turn to on and leave for 6-10 seconds while it programs. Then remove.4) Test new Amazon by attempting to start the engine, it should work immediately.Remote Clicker Programming1) Enter Programming Mode: With the doors unlocked, turn any working key from Off to On 8 times within 10 seconds. So back and forth fast, ending with the key in the On position. The door locks will cycle lock then unlock to signal the car is in programming mode.2) Press any button on your remote within 20 seconds of entering programming mode. The doors will cycle lock/unlock again to signify it's complete. Do this again for every remote you on, each within 20 seconds of the previous. If you leave any keys out they will stop functioning, you can't just program the new ones, you have to do all remotes at once.3) Remove the key. You can test all remotes now and confirm they all function.

Dealer could not cut the keys because they were slightly longer then the original keys, you need to find someone who can cut keys the old fashion way, which I did. Then you need a locksmith to help you program the keys, which I did. The instructions given were no use to me, but the locksmith said they were the correct key code and should program to the vehicle. After several instructions from him, I was able to program the keys and everything works fine. It does save you money but it's gonna take patience.
